- I know we had Week 0, but now everyone is playing, so we need eyes everywhere
- See below for both of my Thursday Night CFB nukes that the books will never see coming
It’s time, people. I know I said that last week, but last week was different. For starters, we only had a handful of games last week, and they were all on Saturday. This week we’ve hit the motherload.
There are so many games that they couldn’t even put them on one day. They had to spread these things out over the course of an entire weekend, beginning on Thursday night. Our work is literally cut out for us. It’s go time.
We’re going to need action on every single day of this weekend, starting with Thursday night. It’s just the way it is. Lucky for us, I’ve already used two profit boosts on the Thursday night tilts. I can’t wait for these things to kick off. Feels glorious.

Thursday College Football Pick #1 – Boise State Goes Wild
In my opinion, if we’re going to do this Thursday night thing right, we’re going to need to have action on the very first game. It’s just the way we need to operate if we want the books to respect us. Plus, there’s just something about having cash on an NCAA game that starts at 5:30 pm ET. It makes the commute home from work so much more enjoyable.
Luckily, our commute isn’t even close to as far as Boise State has to go to play this football game.
A lot of old timers will tell us that we shouldn’t back teams that have to fly across the country, but I don’t buy it. Maybe it means something once the season gets going, but when we’re talking about the first game of the season, it’s irrelevant. These kids are ready to play, and if we’re being honest, Boise State might be a wagon.
Sure, they lost Ashton Jeanty, but at the end of the day, we don’t even know how good the rest of these kids are. What if they’re good? The last time we saw quarterback Maddux Madsen, he was throwing for 304 yards against Penn State. Now he’ll get to see a South Florida defense that allowed eight yards per pass attempt last season. The Broncos could run away with this game. Feels easy.
- The Bet: Boise State -6 (+136) at Caesars (With Boost)

Thursday College Football Pick #2 – Nebraska Might Be Good
Now that we’ve got a little change riding on the early game, we’ll need to make sure we get down on the late game. It’s the only way to ride the whole night out like a king (or queen). Getting down should be easy, though, because we’ve got Nebraska playing Cincinnati at 9:00 pm on ESPN. It’s a game that must be bet.
Arrowhead Stadium may never be the same.
We talk about this all the time, but I’ll say it again: we have to use our profit boosts. We just do. Right now at FanDuel, they’ve got a 50% boost on this game. It’s the Tail or Fade series, and in this situation, we’re tailing Bussin’ With the Boys. I know the boost only brings this move to -162, but anytime we can get cash on a -162 move that should be -350 or higher, we should do it.
This is by no means an automatic win, but I have Nebraska covering 6+ points in this thing. With the boost being on the moneyline only, all we’ll need them to do is win. If we’re being honest (we are), we should get an opportunity to watch a blowout. That’s always fun when the team killing the other team only needs to win for us to get paid. Feels easy.
- The Bet: Nebraska ML (-162) at FanDuel (With Boost)
