College Football Upset Predictions Week 11 – Top Underdog Bets Today

I made the mistake and paid the price. After multiple profitable weeks picking college football upsets, I laid a goose egg in Week 10. Wake Forest really let me down.

So, it’s time to return to what worked in the past. Home underdogs, teams with some leadership questions, rivalries. They all lead to upsets against the spread.

I’m down, but not giving in. Here are my four best Week 11 college football upset predictions for Saturday.

CFB Upset Picks: BYU +10.5 at Texas Tech

For some reason, the oddsmakers still don’t like BYU. They have been underdogs each of the last two weeks and won both games straight up. I had them as an upset pick against Utah.

Texas Tech is 8-1, 7-2 against the spread and 5-0 at home. QB Behren Morton has thrown for 15 scores and four picks. BYU QB is freshman Bear Bachmeier, who has passed for 1,693 yards. I don’t know why more people aren’t talking about Bear.

BYU didn’t get this many points against Utah or last week against Iowa State. I will take the 10 points plus for the Cougars.

CFB Upset Picks: Georgia at Mississippi State +7.5

Mississippi State has been the underdog in each of its last five games. They are 4-1 against the spread in those five and 8-1 against the spread this season.

Last week, State finally got off the mat and snapped a 16-game SEC losing streak with a win over Arkansas. I know Georgia is Georgia. They’re 7-1, but only 3-4-1 against the spread. They seem to play down to the level of competition.

State has covered its last seven games in Mississippi. I called a Mississippi State upset a couple of weeks ago, correctly. I’m calling it again.

CFB Upset Picks: Louisiana Tech at Delaware +6.0

Home team getting points. I like it. Home team getting points against a team making a 1,219-mile trip and never played there before? I like it even more.

It’s Homecoming for Delaware. The Blue Hens are 50-19 all-time on Homecoming. Delaware QB Nick Minicucci has 15 TD passes and eight more on the ground. Delaware leads Conference USA in total offense.

Defensively though…Delaware ain’t it. La. Tech is 6-1 against the spread this season but 1-2 on the road. I believe in Delaware. The defense should get some stops for the Homecoming crowd.

CFB Upset Picks: Florida at Kentucky +3.5

Back to the SEC again for another upset pick. I love getting points for the home team in the SEC…at night. Kentucky beat Auburn in a 10-3 thriller (not), and Auburn finally fired its coach. We know Florida can’t fire its coach because they already did.

Kentucky has been a team that just can’t get over the hump, but they have played well at home. They played Texas close at home (lost in OT) and lost to Ole Miss by a TD at home. The Wildcats have lost 10 straight SEC home games. I just don’t know about Florida’s mental state, though, after losing to Georgia and all the off-the-field stuff. If Kentucky can get a lead, Florida could tap out.
