The end of season 20 for Dancing with the Stars is drawing near. Surprises abounded in Week 9 as heavy favorites Nastia Liukin and Derek Hough – despite gaining perfect scores – were sent home, while underdogs Noah Galloway and Sharna Burgess remain for next week’s finals in which the winner of the prized mirrorball trophy will be named.

After Liukin’s shocking dismissal, DwtS is down to Riker Lynch (with Allison Holker), Rumer Willis (with Valentin Chmerkovskiy), and the Galloway/Burgess duo, which should make for a memorable finale.

Let’s take one last look at the odds heading into the final week:

Riker Lynch (with Allison Holker): 1/2

  • It was only a few weeks ago that rocker Riker Lynch and his partner Allison Holker were dancing for their lives. Now, the rising duo is the favorite for the mirrorball trophy after not one but two perfect dances in Week 9. With Liukin and Hough out of the finals, Lynch and Holker rise from 8/1 to 1/2 to be this year’s winners.

Rumer Willis (with Valentin Chmerkovskiy): 3/1

  • In reaching the DwtS finals, there’s no doubt that Rumer Willis and dance partner Valentin Chmerkovskiy “Earned It.” For the second time in three weeks, the couple was the last to be called safe. Now, it’s a moot point as Willis hopes to experience the ultimate self-esteem booster by taking home the mirrorball trophy.

Noah Galloway (with Sharna Burgess): 5/1

  • Despite having Week 9’s lowest score, American hero Noah Galloway and his partner Sharna Burgess remain alive and will compete in the DwtS finals. While Galloway’s physical limitations are obvious, his heart and passion continue to defy the odds, much to the delight of judges Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba, Julianne Hough, and Bruno Tonioli. Considering how far he’s come along, an upset win by Galloway – who won the hearts and minds of both the audience and the judges with a surprise proposal during Week 9 – is a real possibility, if not the most likely outcome.

Thanks for reading our DwtS odds series! Next week’s finale gets underway on Monday, May 18 (8:00 PM Eastern) and concludes the following night. Enjoy what should be a finale for the ages and look for our Big Brother odds series in the near future!
