Bieber and Baldwin Engaged: How Quickly Will Wedding Bells Ring?

• Only one month after reuniting, Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin are engaged
• The two dated previously from 2015-2016, and started seeing one another again in June
• The sudden announcement comes only a few months after Bieber’s split with Selena Gomez

Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin are engaged – just weeks after rekindling their romance.

The pop singer popped the question July 7th, while the duo were vacationing in the Bahamas. Simultaneous announcements were made by both bride and groom via social media on July 9th.

According to Bieber’s Instagram, the plan was to keep things hush-hush for a while before making things public — a tad surprising, considering the lightning-quick trajectory they are otherwise on. But, after his dad basically spilled the beans on his own Instagram account, the famous couple decided to go ahead and share their big news.

The Wedding of the Year

Now sources say the couple are already well on their way with the wedding planning – aiming for a small, intimate ceremony with their closest friends and family around. Possible locations we could see the two saying “I Do” in are: Los Angeles (where the couple resides), back home in Canada (where Justin is from), or possibly back on a sunny beach, similar to the one they got engaged on.

There are so many questions left to answer about what could be the wedding of the year (regardless of which year it falls in), and online sports books are having some fun with it.

When and where this wedding will take place has yet to be revealed, but I don’t suspect we are going to have to wait long to find out. The lovebirds don’t seem overly private about their life together, so whether a parent lets the cat out of the bag again or not, it’s not going to be a huge secret.

As Bieber pointed out in his Instagram post, they were engaged on the seventh day of the seventh month — seven being a number significant in their particular stream of religion. Are these two willing to wait for those special dates to roll around again, or will any “7” do?

What About the Guest List?

Sure, they’re planning an intimate ceremony for closest friends and family — but, when you’re Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin that list is bound to include some other well-known faces, right?

While ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez may not be so likely to make an appearance, with a family as famous as the Baldwins — for better or worse! — , celebrity sightings are just par for the course.

Again, sources are saying that they don’t want anything over the top, so this is not going to be a red carpet affair. But, we’ve still got a few gut-feelings on this one.

The future bride is very close with Kendall Jenner — the bff’s even have matching tattoos — so the presence of a Kardashian-Jenner (or two) is likely. Also highly likely, considering Baldwin’s profession: models, and lots of them.

Throw in a Jaden Smith or a Kelia Moniz, and it’s starting to look like a pretty good party.

Less likely than a Kardashian-Jenner, but would still be so sweet: Shawn Mendes, who apparently texted Baldwin to congratulate her as soon as he heard the news.

Justin and Hailey’s Hand-Picked Bridal Party

Keeping on theme with a low-key celebration of love, Bieber and Baldwin are reportedly already carefully selecting who they ask to stand beside them. Bieber’s childhood best friend, Ryan Butler, is probably a given, but we would die to see his younger brother, Jaxon, at the altar, as well.

We already know that two of Hailey’s family members, Ireland Baldwin and Alaia Baldwin, will be in the bridal party in some capacity. But, we are willing to wager that there are a few more spots to be filled still.

One of the biggest questions about the small, intimate ceremony is who will officiate. Justin and Hailey both belong to L.A. mega-church, Hillsong, led by Pastor Carl Lentz — who Justin has been historically very close to. But, rumor has it that relationship has cooled significantly post-Selena.
