The early betting favorite is that Bezos will go young when he settles in with a new main squeeze, setting the total bar at 28.5 years of age for his new eye candy.

The stage was set for this wager earlier this week, when Bezos confirmed he was splitting with his wife MacKenzie after 25 years of marriage.

According to published reports, the couple do not have a pre-nuptial agreement in place. If that is indeed the case, MacKenzie could be in line for a record-setting divorce settlement. Washington, where the couple reside, is a community property state, meaning that all family assets could be split equally.
If she were to get half of his worth, it would make her the richest woman in the world. Included in that settlement could be half of the 16 percent of Amazon stock owned by Bezos. Amazon stock dipped slightly in value in the wake of the divorce announcement.

MacKenzie is 48 years old. The couple have four children, three sons and a daughter.
Is the Chase Already Over?
Several published reports surfaced almost immediately after the couple went public with their divorce announcement that Bezos has been in a relationship for months with former television anchor Lauren Sanchez, known for her work as a contributor on such shows as Extra and The View. Several reports confirmed that they’ve been seen together in public with increasing frequency in recent months.
Sanchez separated last fall from her husband of 13 years, Hollywood agent Patrick Whitesell and they are also headed toward a divorce. Sanchez previously was married to former NFL player Tony Gonzalez. She has three children, two with Whitesell and one from her marriage to Gonzalez.
Both couples have homes in Seattle and often socialized together when both were their spouses. Bezos, Sanchez and Whitesall were photographed together at the Golden Globe Awards.
