Poland (+650) at Germany (-275), Draw (+400)

The top two teams in Group D will meet at Allianz Arena in Munich on Friday, September 4, when still unbeaten Poland takes on Germany in the seventh fixture of Euro 2016 qualification (2:45 PM Eastern).

Poland currently lead the group with four wins and two draws through six matches. They are one of ten teams that has yet to lose in the qualifying round and have wins over Gibraltar (7-0), Germany (2-0), and Georgia twice (0-4, 4-0). They also drew Scotland (2-2 home) and Ireland (1-1 away).

Polish striker Robert Lewandowski, who plays for Bayern Munich in Germany, leads all scorers with seven goals through six matches. While scoring on the defending World Cup champs is never an easy task, Lewandowski will have the advantage of playing in his home stadium.

Germany are just one point back of Poland in the standings with a 4-1-1 record. The loss to Poland has been their only setback so far. They have posted wins over Scotland (2-1), Gibraltar (4-0, 0-7), and Georgia (0-2), and drew at home against Ireland (1-1).

Midfielder/striker Thomas Muller, who also plays for Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga, has five goals to lead the team.

The Germans have not played their best since winning the 2014 World Cup in Brazil. But, with four games left, they’ll be looking to cohese as a unit.

In the trends, Poland are unbeaten in three straight against Germany, posting two draws (in 2011 and 2014 friendlies) in addition to the 2-0 win during qualifying. However, playing at home and with the chance to climb to the top of the group, the Germans should put a halt to that streak next Friday.

Pick: Germany -275.
