The 2025 Ryder Cup runs from Friday, Sep. 26th, to Sunday, Sep. 28th, with Europe looking to become the first back-to-back champion since 2014. The Americans have home-course advantage, so to speak, at Bethpage Black in New York. The home team has won each of the last five editions.

Ryder Cup Timeline of Updates
- Sunday, 5:04 am ET: The US has made an epic comeback (that may still fall short). It’s now 13.5 to 10.5 with the US leading two of the four matches still on course. The US needs to win all four to take back the Ryder Cup. Europe is currently listed at -2000 to retain the Ryder Cup at DraftKings.
- Sunday, 11:59 am ET: Victor Hovland had to withdraw due to injury, which gave Europe a half-point in his slated singles match with Harris English. EUR now leads 12-5 and is just two points from victory.
- Sunday, 10:45 am ET: Roughly an hour from the first pairing tees off, the Europeans are as short as -20000 to win the 2025 Ryder Cup outright. No team has comeback from more than four points down on the final day, and Europe has a massive seven-point lead heading into Sunday’s 12 singles matches.
- Saturday, 3:03 am ET: Already leading 8.5 to 3.5, Europe is ahead in two afternoon fourballs and tied in the other two. Their live odds to win the Ryder Cup are as short as -1000 at FanDuel.
- Saturday, 12:10 am ET: Europe takes three of four morning foursomes and now leads 8.5-3.5, needing just 5.5 more points to retain. Europe is as short as -900 to retain in the live Ryder Cup odds.
- Saturday, 11:14 am ET: McIlroy/Fleetwood defeated English/Morikawa (3 and 2) to give Europe a 6.5-3.5 lead. Europe also leads both foursomes still on the course.
- Saturday, 10:45 am ET: DeChambeau/Young beat Fitzpatrick/Aberg (4 and 2) to inch USA close (5.5 to 3.5) but Europe still leads the other three foursomes still on the course.
- Saturday, 10:16 am ET: Europe leads three of four day 2 foursomes roughly halfway through the round. They’re odds to retain the trophy are now -500 at DraftKings.
- Friday, 5:23 pm ET: Rahm/Straka defeat Scheffler/Spaun 3&2 to put Europe up 4-2. Fleetwood/Rose lead Griffin/DeChambeau 1up through 15, while McIlroy/Lowry vs Burns/Cantlay are all square through 14.
- Friday, 4:41 pm ET: Fleetwood/Rose squared their match with DeChambeau/Griffin (through 12) and now the USA trails in two matches (by multiples strokes, and leads in just one. If all holds, Europe will lead 5.5 to 2.5 after day 1.
- Friday, 3:56 pm ET:Europe is poised to at least split the afternoon four-balls. Rahm/Straka are 3up on Scheffler/Spaun through 11, while McIlroy/Lowry are 2up on Burns/Cantlay through 9. Team USA leads the other two matches (1up through 10, and 3up through 9).
- Friday, 3:07 pm ET:McIlroy/Lowry have taken a 1up lead on Burns/Cantlay through 6. Already up 3-1 after the morning session, Europe now leads in two afternoon matches and USA leads in the other two. Europe is once again the odds-on favorite to win (-115 or shorter in the three-way moneyline odds).
- Friday, 2:29 pm ET: Young/Thomas are now 2up on Aberg/Hojgaard through 5, and USA continues to lead in two afternoon matches. The USA is back to being the favorite in the live Ryder Cup odds after fading as far as +140 earlier in the day.
- Friday, 2:11 pm ET:Griffin/DeChambeau are now 1up on Fleetwood/Rose after 5, giving the USA the lead in two active matches, with Europe leading one, and one all square.
