SK Wyverns +140 +1.5 (-120) Under 9.0 (-110)

Odds as of June 13th.

Will the Dinos Bounce Back?

The Dinos have yet to lose three games in a row all season and will turn to Kim Jin-ho in the series finale. The 22-year-old will be making his first career start and will have to contend with a Heroes squad that pounded 17 hits Saturday en route to victory.

Kiwoom meanwhile, will counter with Jo Young-gun, who’ll make just his fourth career start and hasn’t made it past the 5th inning in any outing this season.

With two inexperienced arms on the mound this game should feature plenty of offense. The Heroes have already scored 21 runs this series, while the Dinos lead the KBO in every major offensive category and have scored double digit runs six times in the last three weeks.

Pick: Over 11.5 (-130)

Tigers Tame Wyverns Again

The KIA Tigers squeaked out another low scoring affair on Saturday, handing the SK Wyverns their fourth straight loss. KIA will look to complete the three-game sweep Sunday and will send Yang Hyun-jong to the mound to get the job done.

The 32-year-old has been lights out over his last two starts, holding the opposition to a single run in each outing. Back on May 22nd, he held SK scoreless over 6 innings and allowed just four hits en route to a 5-1 victory.

The Wyverns meanwhile, continue to struggle offensively. They’ve scored just four runs in two games this series, and have managed just 13 runs total in five games this week.

Pick: KIA Tigers -1.5 (-110)

Lotte and LG Go Over

Lotte and LG have split the first two games of their series and Sunday projects to be a big day for both offenses. Each team will send an inconsistent starter to the hill, which should mean fireworks.

The Giants will turn to Adrian Sampson, who’s allowed nine hits in two straight outings and averages less than 5 innings per start.  Casey Kelly will get the ball for the Twins, and although he was sharp last time out, this is a guy who gave up eight runs to Samsung two starts ago. He was also tagged by KT Wiz and NC in separate outings earlier this year, and sports an ERA over 5.00.

This game features the lowest total on the slate, and while neither team is an offensive juggernaut, the inconsistency of the starters involved makes the over an enticing play.

Pick: Over 8.5 (-115)
