The NC Dinos winning streak has reached 11 games with no end in sight. On Thursday, they blasted SK 10-2 marking the fourth time in six games they’ve beaten an opponent by at least six runs.

Friday, they’ll face Samsung, another team they’ve dominated this season. The Dinos are 7-3 versus the Lions in 2020, and will look to improve on that mark when they square off at 1:00 am EST.

Odds as of October 1st at FanDuel.

NC opened up as a big home favorite, in part due to their torrid streak and in part due to a big advantage in the starting pitching department.

The Wright Stuff

The Dinos will send right-hander Mike Wright to the mound, who’s been sensational in his last two outings. He limited Hanwha and Lotte to just one total run over 13 innings, while striking out 11.

The 30-year-old has won five of his past six decisions, and the Lions offense isn’t exactly a group to fear. Samsung has scored three or fewer runs in three of its past four, and are one of just three teams (along with SK and Hanwha) that averages less than five runs per game.

NC’s bats meanwhile, are scorching hot. They’ve smacked 13 home runs over the last seven games, and have outscored the opposition by 54 runs during their current winning streak.

They’ll face Chae Heung Choi, who’s been shaky recently. He’s surrendered 10 runs in his past two starts and performed poorly in his only meeting this season with the Dinos. That day, he allowed seven runs and nine hits to NC over just 4 innings, in an 18-7 Dinos victory.

Pick: NC Dinos -1.5 (-136)

Hanwha and Lotte Struggle to Score

Elsewhere in the KBO on Friday, Lotte’s Dan Straily has an excellent chance to pad his strikeout lead against light-hitting Hanwha. Straily has fanned 14 batters over his last two outings, giving him 166 strikeouts in 26 starts.

He’s surrendered just two earned runs and eight hits over his last 19 innings, and has kept the Eagles below three runs in two of his three starts against them this season.

Hanwha meanwhile, is riding a rare two-game winning streak, but won’t be able to match the outlier offensive performances they put up on Wednesday and Thursday. The Eagles scored 10 and 12 runs on those days, but success versus Straily won’t be so simple.

Instead of laying -1.5 with Lotte however, target Under 9.5 instead. Hanwha will give the ball to Min Woo Kim, who’s been one of the team’s better starters this season. He’s allowed three earned runs or less in five of his past six starts, and the Giants are far from an offensive juggernaut.

Lotte averages just 5.17 runs per game (fourth lowest) and is one of just two KBO teams who’ve yet to crack 100 home runs this season.

Pick: Under 9.5 (-134)
