Wednesday HR Parlay Leg #1 – Jake Burger to Hit a Home Run
We need something that is free in this thing to really get us going. A little momentum can go a long way so just one guy putting a ball on the moon for us could be huge. Lucky for us, we’ve got the perfect guy in the perfect matchup in the perfect place.
Just look at what Jake Burger is doing to fastballs from right-handers this month.
As much as this is about Jake, it’s also about David Festa. Sure, Jake is demolishing fastballs from righties, but we need a righty that serves them up. Festa is our guy. The kid literally gave up three home runs in his last start. His changeup is actually his biggest problem, but don’t worry, Burger smokes those too. My guess is, Jake puts one in the seats in his first at-bat on the first pitch so we won’t be sweating this thing very long. Feels easy.

Wednesday HR Parlay Leg #2 – Heliot Ramos to Hit a Home Run
Obviously, once Burger hits, we’ll need someone we can trust. We can’t waste home runs. They are too rare and too valuable. Luckily, Heliot Ramos is in Colorado tonight, taking on the Rockies. He’s going to see Kyle Freeland, which is a huge boost for any batter (sorry Kyle).
Just look at what Ramos has been doing to four-seamers from southpaws lately.
Batter vs pitcher really doesn’t matter to me much, but we can use it today since Romos obviously is comfortable against Freeland. He’s seen Freeland nine times and has three hits in those nine at-bats. One of those hits was a triple, and one was a dinger. He smokes this guy. The weather in Colorado tonight is perfect for the long ball, so at this point, all we have to do is make this wager. It’s hitting (probably).
