We’re looking at our first Dinger Tuesday of the 2026 MLB Season, and I, for one, couldn’t be more excited. Dinger Tuesday has changed a little over the years, but one thing remains the same: Tuesdays are for dingers. And if there’s anything we know about, it’s dingers.

In my last article, we saw Luke Raley hit a ball to space, which cashed our +775 bet. Are we bragging about it? God no. That’s just not how we roll. But we will remind the books of what happened. Everyone saw what unfolded. Lucky for us, we’ve got three more guys today who all look like they’re ready to stuff some cash in our pockets. All we have to do at this point is let them. Feels easy.

Home Run Pick #1 – TJ Rumfield to Hit a Home Run

Obviously, we need a “who the hell is that guy” in this thing. It’s Dinger Tuesday, and “who the hell is that guy” types always go yard on Dinger Tuesday. I think they all get together beforehand and figure out who’s going yard, but that’s just speculation. Nothing can be proven. Yet.

For now, we’ll just have to figure it out based on the pitcher matchup, which is just fine with us. TJ is going to see Max Scherzer tonight.

I know that we’re talking about Mad Max here, but he’s not Mad Max anymore. He had his run, and it was glorious. We would have never thought about going against Old Max, but this is New Max. New Max gives up barrels to lefties at a historic rate. His four-seam fastball alone yielded a 14.2% barrel rate last season. All I’m saying is if Max tries that weak stuff on TJ, he’s going to wish he didn’t. Feels easy.

Tuesday HR Pick #2 – Nick Kurtz to Hit a Home Run
