Monday HR Parlay Leg #1 – Pete Crow-Armstrong to Hit a Home Run

I know what the haters are saying, “Slop, we never bet on this guy.” They’re right, we rarely do, but all that is behind us now. We’re betting on PCA now. Sometimes in life, we need to reevaluate our choices, and if we’re being honest, not betting on PCA was a bad idea on our part. Takes a big man to admit that.

Just look at what this guy does to the pitch mix he’ll see tonight.

Pete is going to see Edward Cabrera tonight, who has given up one home run in every game he started except one this season. Righties, lefties, doesn’t matter. Somebody is hitting a dinger off of this guy. My guess is, Pete is going to sneak attack him in the very first at-bat of the game. It’s the best time to do it since some guys don’t even know the game has started. Feels easy.

Home Run Parlay Leg #2 – Christian Walker to Hit a Home Run

Following a guy that we never really play with, another guy we never really play is a move that has to work. How on Earth will the books ever see that coming? Short answer: they won’t. There’s really no way they could when you think about it.

What makes this whole thing smart is the fact that Christian Walker smashes the Ryan Pepiot arsenal.

I’m a Ryan Pepiot guy, always have been, but my man is giving up dingers this season. It’s noticeable. We’re talking nine in 50 innings of work this season. Now he has cleaned up a little recently, but just last game, he got smacked over the fence by Alejandro Kirk. At the end of the day, Pepiot has problems with righties, and Christian Walker is a righty. I don’t know how this could possibly go wrong. Feels right.

Monday HR Parlay Leg #3 – Jake Bauers to Hit a Home Run

This is where things get wild. Like real wild. For starters, we don’t even know if Jake Bauers will start tonight. The thing is, I’m 99.9% sure he’ll be in the Milwaukee Brewers lineup. Some of the fantasy apps have him in, and some have him out.

Once I saw what he does to the Dean Kremer pitch mix, I can’t imagine the Brewers keeping him out. It just wouldn’t make sense.

I’m not the biggest batter versus pitcher guy, but sometimes we just have to recognize greatness. Our guy, Bauers, just has Kremer’s number. He’s only seen him nine times, but he’s got three extra base hits off of him in those nine at-bats. Two of those balls hit the seats. On top of all that, Bauers is raking at the moment as well, so he’s in good form. All signs point to a moonshot by Bauers tonight. Frankly, there’s nothing that can stop it. Feels easy.
