All 30 MLB teams are in action on Tuesday, May 20, so it is a great day to look at home run props. To make it even better, sportsbooks are offering promotions for players to hit a home run tonight.

At FanDuel, it is Dinger Tuesday, so all users can opt in and get a 50% profit boost to use on any player to hit a home run today. This is a great boost to use on a player who is a known home run hitter, so you can get better odds than you normally can.

DraftKings is offering a no-sweat home run bet, so even if the player you bet on does not hit a home run, you get a bonus bet. This is a great bonus to use on a longshot to hit a home run. If that player hits one over the fence, you get a big payout, and if he does not, you get a bonus bet back.

Dinger Tuesday Pick #1: Bryce Harper (+495 at FanDuel with 50% Profit Boost)

It’s been ten days since Bryce Harper last hit a home run, but he has a great opportunity to go yard tonight. It has not been the season he expected so far, but it is turning around. He has a hit in each of his last four games and has multiple hits in four of his last six. He is now playing in hitter’s paradise in Colorado. Combine the Rockies’ pitching and the altitude, and Harper has a great chance to hit one over the fence.

Antonio Senzatela is on the mound for Colorado tonight, and Harper has done great against him in his career. He is 5-15 (.333 average) and has hit two home runs off Senzatela.

Even though he only has seven home runs on the year, Harper’s exit velocity (93.8), hard hit rate (59.1), and expected slugging (.633) show that he is still a threat to hit a homer any time he steps up to the plate.

Harper is +330 to hit a home run at FanDuel, so his odds are lower than I would normally like to go for a home run prop, but with the 50% profit boost, Harper is now +495. That is tremendous value for a player of Harper’s caliber in Colorado.

Home Run Pick #2: Paul Goldschmidt (+500 at FanDuel)

I am predicting that Paul Goldschmidt hits one over the fence at Yankee Stadium tonight vs. the Rangers. Goldy has been demolishing lefties in his first season with the Yankees. He is batting .541 vs left-handed pitchers, and four of his five home runs this season have come off lefties.

He is facing Patrick Corbin, who has been better this season, but he is still susceptible to giving up the longball. Corbin has given up three home runs in his last three starts. Golschmidt’s metrics are impressive this season. His expected weighted on-base average is .367, and his expected slugging percentage is .509.

Home Run Pick #3: Pete Alonso (+400 at FanDuel)

My last home run pick today is Pete Alonso, who is +400 at FanDuel. Alonso has hit nine home runs on the year and is poised to hit another one in a great matchup. He is facing Walker Buehler and the Red Sox, whom he has had success against.

Alonso has hit four home runs off Buehler in his career. Buehler is coming back from injury and is playing at Fenway, which has the second-best ballpark value for hitters since 2023. Only Coors Field has a higher ballpark factor.

Alonso’s exit velocity (95.3) and hard hit rate (59.4%) give me confidence that he can hit his fifth home run off of Buehler tonight at Fenway.
