  • The New York Yankees are heavy -320 home favorites to defeat the Baltimore Orioles in an American League East afternoon game slated for Saturday, September 4
  • In 14 previous meetings so far this season, the Yanks have won nine games
  • The O’s are 2-15 in their last 17 visits to Yankee Stadium

Not all that long ago the New York Yankees (78-56, 40-25 home) were beating everything in sight, while the Baltimore Orioles (41-92, 22-48 away) were serving as the free spot on the MLB bingo card.

From August 14-27, the Yanks won 13 games in a row. Around the same time, the O’s were going 19 games without a win from August 3-24.

Baltimore is skidding again. The Orioles show a 1-6 slate over their last seven games. New York ended a four-game losing streak with a victory Wednesday at the Los Angeles Angels and have now won two in a row.

Oddsmakers are establishing the Yankees as solid -320 favorites to continue winning against the Orioles on Saturday afternoon. Baltimore is 21-46 as an away underdog this season.
