The National League West champion Los Angeles Dodgers will attempt to become the first NL team since 1909 to win 110 games in the regular season when they host the Colorado Rockies at 9:10pm ET Saturday in the second game of a six-game series at Dodger Stadium.

Rockies vs Dodgers Probable Pitchers

Left-hander Kyle Freeland (9-11, 4.63) is scheduled to start for the Rockies against rookie Michael Grove (1-0, 4.07). Both will be pitching on five days of rest.

Freeland was hammered in his last start by the Padres last Sunday in San Diego. He was charged with seven runs (six earned) on nine hits in 2.2 innings while taking the loss and had two strikeouts and no walks.

Freeland is 4-5 with a 3.18 ERA in 14 road starts this season. At night, he is 5-7 with a 4.06 ERA in 18 starts. The Rockies have gone 14-16 when Freeland toes the slab.

Grove notched his first career win in his fifth start and sixth appearance last Sunday against the St. Louis Cardinals at home. He pitched five innings and gave up one run, three hits and one walk to go with three strikeouts.

Grove has never faced the Rockies.

At home, Grove is 1-0 with a 4.30 ERA in four games (three starts) this season. He has no decisions in three games (two starts) at night and a 5.91 ERA. The Dodgers have won four of his five starts.
