The main event features two undefeated finishers, Dani Barbir and Mantas Kondratavicius, who have combined for 14 finishes in 15 wins. Tuesday’s Contender Series action starts from the UFC Apex at 8:00 pm ET on ESPN+.
Here are my Dana White’s Contender Series predictions, betting picks and odds for Week 7.

Rafael Tobias sits at -470 against Jair de Oliveira, making him the heaviest favorite in the Week 7 Dana White Contender odds. The main event offers better value for DWCS predictions, as both fighters are around even money.

Dani Barbir vs Mantas Kondratavicius Prediction
Dani Dani Barbir (7-0) is the Fight Night Championship middleweight champ out of Croatia, training at American Top Team Zagreb. The 6’3″ fighter dropped his last opponent with a front kick to the jaw before sinking in an arm-triangle choke for the win.
Mantas Kondratavicius (7-1) comes from a professional kickboxing background and has knocked out five of his seven wins. The Lithuanian just needed 47 seconds to finish his last opponent with a right cross. His only loss? A rear-naked choke that exposed his ground game weaknesses.
Neither fighter has seen Round 3 as a pro. Barbir has the edge in grappling and training partners, while Kondratavicius is the better boxer with real knockout power. Barbir showed toughness last time out, getting rocked but rallying for the finish.
I don’t see this one going the distance. I’m backing the Under 1.5 Rounds as my best bet. I lean Barbir to get it done, but the under is my most confident prediction.
- Pick: Fight Under 1.5 Rounds (-215)
Brahyan Zurcher vs Murtazali Magomedov Pick
Two undefeated featherweights square off as Brahyan Zurcher (9-0) takes on Murtazali Magomedov (9-0). Zurcher has PFL experience and sometimes trains with Khabib’s team. Seven of his nine wins are finishes, including four straight knockouts.
Magomedov is a two-time GAMMA world amateur champ and has finished all nine pro fights, split between knockouts and submissions. At 5’11” to Zurcher’s 5’6″, he brings big size and reach advantages, making him a live underdog in the Contender Series odds.
Zurcher is a patient wrestler who looks for takedowns, while Magomedov controls range and counters with power. He did get dropped in his last fight but came back to win. Both fighters finish fights everywhere, making this basically a coin flip for our DWCS Week 7 picks.
Magomedov at plus money is my favorite play. His size, speed, and finishing skills give him plenty of ways to win.
- Pick: Murtazali Magomedov (+114)

Javier Reyes vs Justice Torres Prediction
Javier Reyes (21-5) gets a late replacement in Justice Torres. Reyes is experienced with 26 pro fights and eight submission wins, but his striking is stiff and his chin is a liability. He was knocked out cold by recent DWCS winner Lerryan Douglas.
Justice Torres (12-3) steps in on short notice from Fury FC, where he was featherweight champ. He trains at 4oz Fight Club with Joshua Van and brings sharp striking and solid wrestling defense. This last-minute replacement has caused various sportsbooks to price Torres differently in their DWCS markets.
Reyes needs takedowns to win, but his shots are predictable. Torres should stuff enough attempts to keep this standing where he holds clear advantages. The DraftKings odds feel off for a short-notice replacement against an experienced veteran in the Contender Series.
I love the value Torres offers as a +160 underdog. His striking and camp quality point to another potential upset brewing in Tuesday’s DWCS odds.
- Pick: Justice Torres (+160)
Sofia Montenegro vs Jeisla Chaves Pick
The women’s flyweight matchup is hard to figure out. Sofia Montenegro (6-1) trains at the UFC PI and just hit a heel hook submission, but she was also knocked out in 10 seconds by Jazmela Luna. That loss has me concerned about her durability against opponents with power.
Jeisla Chaves (5-0) is undefeated, but none of her opponents had a pro win. Every opponent came in at 0-0 or worse. Three of her wins came from “Gomes Fighting Championship” which looks like record padding for Tuesday’s DWCS card.
Montenegro should get it done based on experience and training, but -218 is too rich for me. The over is the safer play since neither has shown real finishing power against legit competition.
- Pick: Fight Over 2.5 Rounds (-135)
Rafael Tobias vs Jair de Oliveira Prediction
Rafael Tobias (13-1) turned pro at 17 and, now at 22, has plenty of experience. He’s finished 10 of 13 wins, split between knockouts and subs. After losing to Miguel Porto in LFA, he’s bounced back against regional competition.
Jair de Oliveira (6-0) has six first-round finishes, but his opponents have been awful—mostly debuting or on losing streaks. He took a seven-year hiatus after his debut and now teaches cardio kickboxing at his gym.
Tobias should win this fight easily, but -470 offers minimal value for DWCS betting picks. My favorite bet is the Under, as both fighters finish opponents quickly. However, this is also ridiculously inflated, so I recommend either including it in your UFC parlay or passing entirely on this fight.
- Pick: Fight Under 1.5 Rounds (-330)
