What Time is the Ryan Garcia Fight?
The Ryan Garcia fight time is set for approximately 11:53 PM ET. That’s when ring walks are expected for the main event. The actual first punch should land closer to midnight ET depending on how long the walkouts take and whether the undercard runs on schedule.
If you’re wondering what time does the Ryan Garcia fight start, here’s the full breakdown:
West Coast fans should expect the main event close to 9 PM local time. But keep in mind that fight cards almost always run late. If the undercard bouts go long or walkouts drag, Garcia vs Barrios could easily start past midnight ET. Plan to be up late.
How to Watch Ryan Garcia vs Mario Barrios
Where can you watch Ryan Garcia vs Mario Barrios? DAZN. That’s the only option. This is a pay-per-view event with no cable TV broadcast. You can sign up to watch it right here.
The PPV costs $69.99 as a standalone purchase. But if you’re a boxing fan who plans to watch more than just tonight, the DAZN Ultimate subscription ($44.99/month) includes the PPV and gives you access to at least 12 PPV fight cards per year plus 185+ fight nights annually from promotions like Matchroom, Queensbury and Golden Boy. It’s not cheap, but it pays for itself quickly if you’re tuning in regularly.
DAZN will also stream free preliminary bouts starting at 5:45 PM ET before the pay-per-view kicks off at 7:55 PM ET. Just open the DAZN app and the event will be right there on the homepage.
Where is the Ryan Garcia Fight?
Garcia vs Barrios takes place at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. The venue holds around 20,000 fans and has hosted major boxing events before, including Canelo Alvarez fights and several other big cards over the years.
Garcia vs Barrios Fight Card
The undercard features two more world title fights and a couple of solid matchups. Here’s the full lineup:
Main Card (DAZN PPV, 7:55 PM ET)
- Mario Barrios vs Ryan Garcia – WBC Welterweight Title, 12 rounds
- Richardson Hitchins vs Oscar Duarte – IBF Super Lightweight Title
- Gary Antuanne Russell vs Andy Hiraoka – WBA Super Lightweight Title
- Frank Martin vs Nahir Albright – Super Lightweight, 10 rounds
- Bektemir Melikuziev vs Sena Agbeko – Super Middleweight
The Hitchins vs Duarte fight is worth watching. Hitchins (20-0, 8 KOs) is a slick boxer making the second defense of his IBF 140-pound belt. Duarte (30-2-1, 23 KOs) is a pressure fighter who throws a ton of punches and has won four straight since his 2023 KO loss to Garcia. Hitchins is a heavy -550 favorite, but Duarte’s pace could cause problems.
Frank Martin (19-1, 13 KOs) is also worth tuning in for. He’s rebuilding after his stoppage loss to Gervonta Davis last year and looked sharp in a four-round KO of Rances Barthelemy in December. He faces Nahir Albright (17-2, 7 KOs), a Philly fighter who works best on the inside and pulled off an upset over Kelvin Davis in June 2025.
Garcia vs Barrios Weigh-In Results
Both fighters made weight without any issues on Friday. Here’s what they came in at:
Garcia came in a half-pound under the 147-pound limit. His father Henry said Ryan was around 151 heading into fight week, so the cut was only about four and a half pounds. He looked lean at the scale, but his drawn appearance throughout fight week made it obvious the cut took something out of him. Garcia was also fined $5,000 for a pre-fight weight check earlier in February.
Barrios hit the limit right on the nose and looked comfortable doing it. He’s a natural welterweight who has been fighting at 147 for a while now. The cut didn’t seem to bother him at all.
Garcia vs Barrios Tale of the Tape
Ryan Garcia vs Mario Barrios
Barrios has two inches on Garcia in both height and reach. Garcia is younger and finishes fights at a much higher rate, though. Barrios has boxed 210 professional rounds compared to Garcia’s 124 – nearly double the ring time. That matters in a 12-round title fight.
Garcia vs Barrios Odds
Garcia is a -225 moneyline favorite, which gives him roughly a 69% implied probability to win. He opened as high as -250 at some books but has drifted slightly. Barrios is coming back at +170, meaning a $100 bet would return $170 in profit if the champion wins. I broke down who I like and why in our Garcia vs Barrios prediction and odds breakdown.
We also filmed our best boxing bets for Garcia vs Barrios if you want the video version.
The over/under on total rounds is set at 10.5, with the over priced at -130. The fight going all 12 rounds is -118, so oddsmakers view it as close to a coin flip on whether this goes the distance. Garcia can crack, but Barrios has only been stopped once in 33 professional fights. Make sure to shop for the best number using the best boxing betting sites.
What to Know Heading In
Garcia hasn’t won a fight since December 2023, when he knocked out Oscar Duarte in eight rounds. His majority decision over Devin Haney in April 2024 was overturned to a no-contest after he tested positive for Ostarine. He then lost by unanimous decision to Rolando Romero in May 2025. So Garcia is challenging for a WBC title coming off a loss and without a win in over two years.
Fans and media have criticized Garcia’s path to a title shot. Most believe Garcia’s name and profile earned him this opportunity, not his recent results. The WBC approved it as a voluntary defense for Barrios, so no mandatory ordering was needed.
Barrios isn’t exactly rolling into this on a hot streak either. He drew with Abel Ramos by split decision in November 2024, then fought to a majority draw with a 46-year-old Manny Pacquiao in July 2025. That means the champ hasn’t officially won a fight in over a year himself.
One thing to watch: Barrios has teamed up with Joe Goossen for this camp. Goossen is Garcia’s former trainer, so Barrios’ corner has a good read on Garcia’s tendencies and habits.
Also Tonight: Strickland vs Hernandez (UFC Houston)
It’s a loaded night for fight fans. If you’re also into MMA, former UFC middleweight champion Sean Strickland (29-7) faces Anthony Hernandez (15-2) in a five-round main event at UFC Fight Night in Houston.
That card takes place at Toyota Center and airs on Paramount+. Strickland and Hernandez are ranked No. 3 and No. 4 at middleweight. The winner could be next in line for a shot at champion Khamzat Chimaev.
