UFC 276 is slated for Saturday, July 2 at T-Mobile Arena in Paradise, Nevada. The preliminary card gets underway at 6:10pm ET, with the main card slated for a 10pm ET start. Catch all the main event fights on ESPN+. Preliminary action is being broadcast by ABC.

At favorite’s odds of -475 Adesanya is given an implied probability of victory in the bout of 82.61%. A successful $10 wager on the Nigerian champion will return just $12.10. On the other hand, at +380 Cannonier’s IP of victory is 20.83%. Place a 10 spot on him and if the challenger earns the belt, that will pay out at $48.00.

Public Loving Adesanya Over Cannonier

There isn’t a fighter on the 12-bout UFC 276 card who’s drawing a higher percentage of bet count than the 90% backing Adesanya against Cannonier. Just two fighters – Sean O’Malley (93%) and Dricus Du Plessis (92%) – are getting a higher rate of handle percentage.

Although he’s considered to be among the finest strikers in all of UFC, Adesanya isn’t showing a plethora of knockouts on his fight card. Only two of his six middleweight title bouts have ended by stoppage. In fact, just three of his past 11 bouts finished via knockout. No wonder then that Adesanya by decision prop is at a betting line of +125.

On the other hand, the aptly-named Cannonier has brought four of his last fights to a close via knockout. It was a emphatic second-round stoppage of Derek Brunson that earned Cannonier his title shot. Nicknamed The Killa Gorilla, Cannonier is consered to possess one of the most powerful knockout punches in MMA. His problem will be getting a power shot in on the elusive Adesanya. The best in the business have tried and failed to achieve this accomplishment. Bettors can access +600 odds on Cannonier by knockout or TKO.

Some Interesting UFC 276 Public Splits

Veteran Donald (Cowboy) Cerrone is a popular UFC competitor and that’s showing in the betting action on his fight with Jim Miller. A +160 underdog, Cerrone is garnering 52% of the action on the fight in terms of handle. That seems a bit of a stretch, considering the Cowboy appears headed for the last roundup. He’s 0-5-1 in his past six bouts.

Cerrone did KO Miller with a leg kick when they previously met but that was in 2014. This time around, the betting action is heavily backing Miller at 69%.

Uriah Hall, 37, is another veteran UFC campaigner who’s getting some unlikely love. There’s 30% of the bet count on him even though he’s a -265 underdog against Andre Muniz. Muniz, though, is grabbing 89% of the handle.
