Fans of Max Holloway know he leaves it all in the cage everytime he steps foot in the Octagon. That may be what it takes to defeat Charles Oliveira tonight, but the data says Max is up for the task. Holloway’s 7.2 significant strikes landed per minute and 59% striking defense should be enough to overwhelm Oliveira’s grappling threat.
Max’s 83% takedown defense has held up against elite wrestlers and jiu-jitsu practitioners through his career, and his volume striking will eventually take its toll on Oliveira. Despite becoming a lightweight champion, Charles Oliveira gets hit a ton, absorbing 3.24 strikes per minute. Holloway’s recent wins over Gaethje and Chan Sun Jung also show his power evolution. I like him to finish or outpoint Oliveira tonight.
Next up, Caio Borralho is on a mission to avenge his only UFC loss. Borralho’s precision striking and 77% takedown defense works in his favor. As do his 3.44 significant strikes landed per minute and 60% striking defense. I like him to pressure de Ridder into mistakes tonight.
Finally, Raul Rosas Jr. aims to continue climbing the bantamweight ranks tonight. The 21-year old is a heavy favorite over veteran Rob Font. Rosas youth, athleticism and work rate will serve him well tonight against the 38-year-old. Font’s striking defense has fallen off a cliff as he’s aged, as he’s absorbed 3.7 strikes per minute over his last five fights. Additionally, Rosas Jr.’s submission threat will be ever present, and the rising prospect has far more avenues to win this fight than his opponent.

As noted above, Raul Rosas Jr. is a slick, youthful submission artist who will be looking to make his mark on the main card of UFC 326 tonight.
Rosas has won six fights by submission in his career, including two in the UFC. Take advantage of the fact that matchmakers are basically handing the 38-year-old Font to their rising prospect on a silver platter. Font’s been a decent wrestler throughout his career, and can certainly hold his own on the ground, but I like Rosas to get himself into a dominant position early and look to finish to earn a UFC bonus. He’s nicknamed “El Nino Problema” for a reason, look for him to cause Font problems and end his night early.
Further down the card, a rousing light heavyweight prelim between Rafael Tobias and Diyar Nurgozhay is sure to provide fireworks.
Expect both men to stand a trade early and look for a statement victory. Tobias is a far more explosive athlete than his Kazakhstanian opponent. The 22-year-old has won six straight fights, and has finished 11 of his 14 career opponents. I like the UFC Contenders Series alum to continue to build his resume with a violent knockout tonight.
