UFC 315 touches down in Montreal, Quebec, Canada tonight (Saturday, May 10th) for another edition of the promotion’s iconic numbered events. The main event sees welterweight champion Belal Muhammad put his belt on the line for the first time against surging Australian contender Jack Della Maddalena.
The co-main event features a clash for the women’s flyweight title as Valentina Shevchenko kicks off her second reign against unbeaten French challenger Manon Fiorot. The main card is littered with legends like Jose Aldo and Alexa Grasso in pivotal matchups.
Before we dive into our final UFC 315 picks and predictions, let’s check out the latest odds for the main card fights.
Updated UFC 315 Odds
Both Muhammad and Shevchenko have seen their odds shorten slightly as money comes in on the fan favorites. Meanwhile, Aldo’s odds have shrunk from -220 to -185 while underdog Zahabi improved from +175 to +154.
The heaviest favorite on the UFC 315 main card is Benoit Saint-Denis. His odds have surged from -1115 to -1450, giving him staggering 93.15% implied probability to defeat Kyle Prepolec.

Final UFC 315 Predictions
With the stage set and odds updated, here are my top two plays for the UFC 315 main card.
Best Bet: Belal Muhammad Wins by Decision (-105 at DraftKings)
Muhammad’s relentless wrestling, pressure, and cardio are tailormade for five-round fights. He’s taken out top contenders and former champs before with this suffocating style. His dominant win over elite striker Leon Edwards showed he can negate dangerous strikers over 25 minutes.
Look for Muhammad to employ a similar game plan here – close distance, avoid Della Maddalena’s slick boxing in the pocket, drag him to the mat and grind him down. I expect the champ to impose his will more and more as the fight goes on against an untested Della Maddalena.
The Australian has dynamic hands and can never be counted out, as shown by his comeback KO of Gilbert Burns. But Muhammad’s chin is granite and over 4.5 rounds of relentless pressure, he should be able to rack up enough control time to earn a clear decision.
Value Play: Jose Aldo Wins by KO/TKO/DQ (+400 at DraftKings)
The UFC Hall of Famer and former featherweight king has shown flashes of his prime form recently at age 38. His crisp boxing, leg kicks, and takedown defense are still as good as anyone’s in the division.
Zahabi is a solid striker but doesn’t present many challenges Aldo hasn’t seen before. The Brazilian will have a major experience and skill edge. With Zahabi unlikely to attempt any takedowns, this should be a striking battle.
Look for vintage Aldo to show up in front of the raucous Montreal crowd. I’m betting his hand speed and killer instinct are still sharp enough to find Zahabi’s chin and turn his lights out. At +400 odds, Aldo winning by KO/TKO is worth a shot.
Other UFC 315 Main Card Predictions & Best Bets:
- Natalia Silva (-230) overwhelms Grasso with speed and volume; go with fight goes the distance (-210)
- Benoit Saint-Denis (-1450) demolishes overmatched Prepolec; bet under 1.5 rounds (-175)
Rising contender Silva is a perfect 6-0 in the UFC with lightning-fast striking and a well-rounded game. She’s a tricky puzzle for former champ Grasso to solve. Look for the Brazilian to dance around Grasso’s boxing, peppering her with side kicks and spinning attacks en route to a decisive points victory.
French finisher Saint-Denis looks to get back on track against the overmatched Kyle Prepolec. The former special forces soldier brings devastating knockout power and an aggressive submission game. Expect him to storm out of the gate and quickly put away Prepolec, who’s stepping in on just days’ notice, early in this mismatch.
This UFC 315 card has some awesome matchups lined up from start to finish. Enjoy the action and good luck with your wagers! Check out the expert best UFC betting sites if you’re looking to get in on the fights.
