The BMF belt is on the line tonight in Las Vegas as two of the UFC’s most beloved figures, Max Holloway and Charles Oliveira, square off for the second time.

These two first fought all the way back in August of 2015, and online sportsbooks are expecting a repeat performance with Holloway emerging victorious.

The UFC 326 prelims are already underway on Paramount+, with the main card fights scheduled to start at 6:15 pm PT, 9:15 pm ET, also on Paramount+.

UFC 326 Line Movement

With just a few hours before the fight, Holloway checks in as a -215 moneyline favorite. That’s down slightly from earlier in the week when he was laying -230, but it’s not enough of a move to suggest a bunch of sharp money is behind it.

In big fights like this, the public loves to back the underdog, and that’s likely why the line has moved slightly in Oliveira’s favor.

The more interesting line movement, in my opinion, is on Holloway’s method of victory. The BMF titleholder has gone from +175 to +150 to score a win by KO/TKO or DQ, and that path to victory is the most likely outcome in my opinion.

UFC 326 Final Predictions for Holloway vs Oliveira 2

For starters, Holloway has already knocked out Oliveira in the past. He stopped him in the opening round of their first bout, and Oliveira has been finished in five of his last six defeats since. All in all, Oliveira has lost inside the distance nine times in his career, while Holloway has 12 knockouts and 2 submissions on his resume.

Tonight will mark Holloway’s second title defense of the BMF bout, after he defeated Dustin Poirier back in July. Holloway has remarkable takedown defense and is one the smartest fighters in the UFC. His footwork is elite and he throws fighters off by switching stances, effectively lengthening his reach.

He’s a precise and volume striker, averaging 7.2 significant strikers per minute, and as long as this fight stays off the mat, it’s his to win.

For Oliveira to find success, he has to get Holloway on the ground, but the stats don’t suggest that will happen. The challenger boasts just a 40% takedown accuracy, while the champ’s takedown defense sits at 83%.

Ultimately, I think Holloway finishes Oliveira again, which makes his knockout prop my favorite wager. Unlike last time, though, I think this fight will drag on a little longer, so I’m going to parlay a Holloway knockout with over 2.5 rounds.

I expect Oliveira to charge out of the gate and try to take the fight to Holloway. The champ will bide his time, slowly picking his opponent apart, before dropping him for good over the final half of the fight.
