The Houston Rockets will be playing for their season for the second game in a row, when they visit the Portland Trail Blazers, this Friday at the Moda Center at 10:30 PM ET, in game six of the Western Conference first round playoffs in the NBA.

The Rockets were able to survive on Wednesday with a 108-98 victory, but now they need to win away from home in order to force a game seven.  The series is 3-2 in favor of Portland.

“I don’t want to go on vacation,” Rockets Dwight Howard said. “I want to win. I want to give everything I’ve got. Every night, put my heart into it and sacrifice my body and do whatever I can to help this team win. It’s not going to be easy.”

Despite the Blazers beat the Rockets twice at Houston, they can’t afford to let this one go, especially playing at home.

“I think we may have underestimated how desperate they were going to come out,” Blazers Robin Lopez said. “I’m excited for Game 6 and I know that they will come out with a greater level of intensity and confidence and we will have to try and match it, overcome it.”

The NBA betting lines have Portland as a 4 point favorite for game six, with the game total at 212 points. Houston is 6-1-2 ATS in its last 9 games when playing on the road against the Portland Trail Blazers.
