Milwaukee Bucks at Chicago Bulls (-8, 193.5)
Tonight, the Milwaukee Bucks will visit the Bulls at the United Center (8:00 p.m. Eastern) looking for their first win versus Chicago this season.
This will be the third time the Bulls and Bucks have squared off this season. The first two saw the Bulls beat the Bucks 95-86(on Nov. 5) and 95-87 (on Jan. 10). In the latter game, Pau Gasol scored a career-high 46 points along with 18 rebounds for the Bulls.
“He was very comfortable right from the first shot of the game,” Milwaukee coach Jason Kidd said about Gasol after that game. “He was very comfortable and you could see that. We have to do a better job at making him feel uncomfortable.”
The Bucks made a big splash at the deadline, dealing leading scorer and star point guard Brandon Knight to the Suns in a three-team deal that saw second-year up-and-comer Michael Carter-Williams come to Milwaukee. The Bucks didn’t improve their chances this year with the trade, but have set themselves up well for the future.
Milwaukee is 1-1 since the deadline, beating Denver on Friday and losing to Atlanta last night.
Despite the recent SU success, Chicago is just 5-5 ATS in the last ten against the Bucks at the United Center. (And the O/U has stayed under in six of the last ten overall between Chicago and Milwaukee.) The Bucks, meanwhile, are 7-3 ATS in their last ten against Eastern Central squads.
So far, Chicago has no injuries report for next Monday game. On other hand, the Bucks have forward Damien Inglis still out indefinitely with an injury on his foot. Also, Jerryd Bayless (hip) is being evaluated day-to-day.
