Golden State Warriors (-9, 227 o/u) at Dallas Mavericks

The Golden State Warriors (61-6, 29-6 Away) have only lost six games this season, but one of those setbacks was a 114-91 rout in Dallas. The Warriors will be out for vengeance tonight when they return to Big D to face the Mavericks (34-34, 19-16 Home) at American Airlines Center (7:30 PM Eastern).

The Warriors are on a six-game winning streak that includes a 121-85 bashing of the New York Knicks on Wednesday Night. Stephen Curry led his team with 34 points, including hitting 8 of 13 from three; Klay Thompson added another 19 points.

Each of Golden State’s last six wins came at home, though. They haven’t played a road game since a shocking 112-95 loss to the lowly Lakers.

The Mavericks are right at .500 and tied for seventh in the West. But they’re trending in the wrong direction at the wrong time of the year. They’ve lost six of their last seven games, including a 99-98 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday, and now sit just 1.5 games ahead of Utah for the final playoff berth in the conference.

The trends look to favor the Warriors. Despite being a 14 to 16-point favorite over each of the last five, Golden State has managed to cover four. They’ve also covered seven of the last eight against the Mavs. Dallas, on the other hand, has covered just one of its last five home games.

Pick: Warriors (-9).
