Milwaukee is enjoying a mind-boggling 11-game winning streak against the Magic dating back to November 1st, 2019.

Bucks Betting Trends

Milwaukee is fully living up to the hype in 2022-23 with the second-best record in the East. Many believe this team could be in the NBA Finals in 2023 and they’re sure looking capable of just that. The most impressive part is the Bucks are 16-6 and Khris Middleton just made his season debut this week, their second-best player.

Mike Budenholzer’s squad is making their living defensively, ranking first in the Association. Giannis is showing out at an MVP level and the return of Middleton should give them a huge boost. Saturday’s victory was the definition of how good Milwaukee truly is. No Giannis, Jrue, or Middleton and they still managed to take down Charlotte.

Bobby Portis led the charge with 20 points, eight boards, and seven assists, while Jordan Nwora also had 17. Committing 21 turnovers was far from ideal, but the Bucks shot the ball well from deep, draining 38% of their triples. The Big 3 are all expected to play Monday.

Magic Betting Trends

It’s another miserable campaign for Orlando, who are dead last in the East at 5-19. However, there are a couple of intriguing pieces that are making their presence felt, starting with Paolo Banchero. The rookie is averaging 21.8 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 3.6 assists in Year One and has been the Magic’s best player. Franz Wagner is putting up nearly 20 PPG, too.

Regardless of some scorers on the roster, Orlando just can’t contain their opponent, ranking 27th in defensive rating, allowing 114.4 points per night. Saturday’s loss to the Raps was a prime example of their inability to defend. Toronto put up 121 points and frankly outplayed the Magic in every category imaginable, killing them on the boards and in the paint.

Both Banchero and Wagner struggled to produce here as well, combining for a mere 18 points. On a more positive note, Orlando shot 39% from long range and Bol Bol continued his impressive season, balling out for 18 points and seven rebounds.

Bucks vs Magic Prediction

It’s difficult to look past Milwaukee’s recent dominance of the Magic. While the Bucks are only 13-8-1 ATS, they’ve beaten Orlando by an average of 18.75 points across the last four meetings. 9.5 points should be easy.

Pick: Bucks -9.5 (-115)
