Tuesday evening brings a possible preview of the Eastern Conference Finals as the league-best Boston Celtics (41-16, 18-9 away) head to Wisconsin to face Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks (39-17, 16-12 home) at Fiserv Forum. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 PM ET. Keep reading for the Celtics vs Bucks prediction.

The C’s are riding a four-game winning streak right now and just took down the trash-talking Memphis Grizzlies on Sunday by a score of 119-109, despite being without Jaylen Brown. He remains out due to a facial injury. But, Boston isn’t as hot as Milwaukee. They’re unbeaten in 10 consecutive contests, taking care of the Los Angeles Clippers last Friday on the West Coast.

The Bucks are a 10-point home favorite against the Celtics, who are missing several key guys.

This is the second meeting of the campaign, with Boston destroying Milwaukee on Christmas Day, beating them 139-118 at the TD Garden.

Who Can Stop Boston?

This is undoubtedly a question that most of the Association are asking. The Celtics have looked almost flawless all season long thus far and remain the title favorites, with no one showing the ability to actually legitimately compete with them. Boston is top-five in offensive and defensive rating while scoring 117.6 PPG, which ranks fourth.

Even with Brown on the shelf, there are others stepping up alongside Jayson Tatum. Derrick White just won Eastern Conference Player of the Week after averaging over 24 PPG last week. The win over Memphis however just showed how well-balanced Joe Mazzulla’s squad truly is, with every player in the rotation except for Luke Cornet finishing in double-figures.

White led the charge with 23 points, while Tatum added 16 as he shot just 3 for 16 from the field. Sam Hauser meanwhile added 20 points in a rare start. When the C’s get a collective effort, they’re hard to beat. It also helps when you’re one of the best three-point shooting teams in the league. Tatum is doubtful to play here with an illness though, therefore it will be a very tall task ahead.

Milwaukee Is Scorching Hot

Without a doubt, the Bucks are the hottest team around at the moment. 10 straight victories are impressive in itself but they’ve also taken down several solid opponents, including the Denver Nuggets, Miami Heat, New Orleans Pelicans, and Los Angeles Clippers on two occasions.

It’s clear that Khris Middleton’s return to the lineup is paying dividends, even though he’s not playing huge minutes yet. However, Giannis is evidently the one carrying the load, averaging 37.3 points during the winning streak, including two outings where he erupted for 50+ points.

The Greek Freak showed out for 35 in LA a few nights ago, while big man Brook Lopez compiled 22 and 15 rebounds. Milwaukee shot 44% from deep and dished out 28 assists, which played a part in countless open looks. Although the Celtics are a tough opponent, the Bucks have all the confidence in the world. Plus, Mike Budenholzer’s group is 23-5 at home.

Celtics vs Bucks Prediction

No Tatum and Marcus Smart Tuesday is a brutal blow, while Grant Williams and Robert Williams are questionable. Milwaukee’s injury report on the other hand looks clean. Giannis and Co. will take advantage of the depleted Celtics.

Pick: Bucks -10 (-110)
