  • Chicago has won two in a row against LAC
  • Can they make it three? Read on for the odds and Clippers vs Bulls prediction

The Los Angeles Clippers (28-25, 14-14 away) will be hoping the return of Kawhi Leonard and Paul George can get them back to their winning ways Tuesday as they visit DeMar DeRozan and the Chicago Bulls (23-26, 13-10 home) at the United Center. The tip-off is set for 8 PM ET. Find the Clippers vs Bulls prediction below.

LA had won five in a row before Sunday’s loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers. In fairness though, Kawhi, PG, Marcus Morris, John Wall, and Reggie Jackson were all sidelined. As for Chicago, they beat the Orlando Magic by 19 points on Saturday.

Clippers in Good Shape

Aside from Sunday’s loss in Cleveland, the Clippers have been playing solid basketball. They won five straight prior to that, their longest unbeaten run of the campaign thus far. A big reason for their recent success is the health of Leonard and George. It’s no secret the star duo must be healthy if LA is going to be a contender come playoff time and both guys are certainly doing their part.

Kawhi has registered 30+ points in five of his last 10 outings, which is absolutely huge for this team. He’s finally finding a rhythm and looking like his former self. As for PG, he’s featured in 36 games and has posted averages of 23.5 points, six rebounds, and five assists while shooting 38% from downtown. The Clippers stars are available on Tuesday in the Windy City.

However, there are a few others who have a questionable tag, including Reggie Jackson, Robert Covington, and Marcus Morris Sr. John Wall is still injured, too. Needless to say, the Clips need Leonard and George to carry the load with several role players potentially unavailable.

Bulls Not Totally Out of Contention Yet

There is no question it’s been a disappointing season for the Bulls to this point. After making the postseason in 2021-22, they certainly expected to be in a similar position with DeRozan and Zach LaVine leading the way. While that’s not the case right now as Chicago sits in 10th spot, not all is lost yet. Billy Donovan’s squad is 5-5 in their last 10 and the East is wide open. The squad is just four games back of the Miami Heat, who are in sixth.

While Saturday’s victory over the lowly Magic wasn’t exactly a confidence booster, there were a lot of positive takeaways. DeRozan and LaVine combined for 64 points on their own, while Nikola Vucevic had a great night, going off for 26 points, 13 rebounds, and six dimes.

The Bulls also shot 46% from deep, 59% from the field, and 84% from the charity stripe. Efficiency at its best. The only thing that could’ve improved is the production from the bench, who added just 19 points. Their star trio isn’t always going to go off, therefore the supporting cast must do their part, too.

Clippers vs Bulls Prediction

Obviously, the Clippers are a whole different beast with Kawhi and PG. I think they outplay the Bulls stars here and propel LA to their sixth win in seven. It could be close, however, so the moneyline is standing out here.

Pick: Clippers moneyline (-158)
