The Bucks and Nets head to a crucial Game 7 on Saturday after Milwaukee pulled through on Thursday night to even things up at three.

Khris Middleton and Giannis Antetokounmpo both dropped 30+ in the win on home court, despite the Bucks shooting just 21% from downtown. On the other side, Kevin Durant continued his historic postseason with 32 points of his own. However, James Harden is still struggling to return to full strength due to a hamstring injury. With Kyrie Irving out again, the Brooklyn duo will need to show out here.

Odds as of June 18th.

Middleton Steps up

Khris Middleton was absolutely brilliant in Game 6, erupting for a team-high 38 points for the Bucks. He was scoring in every way imaginable and was the No. 1 catalyst in their offense.

In fact, Middleton has been very impressive the entire postseason. He’s averaging 23.3 points, 7.8 boards, and 4.1 assists in 10 games while shooting an impressive 39% from long range. Across the board, these numbers are a jump up from the regular season, aside from the three-point shooting.

While Giannis has still been doing damage, Middleton has been the one stepping up and hitting clutch shots throughout the playoffs, including a dagger earlier in this Nets series. Although the 29-year-old has only hit the over in points in two of his last five games, Game 5 saw him post 25.

After all, this is the biggest game of the year for Milwaukee. The Greek Freak and Middleton will need to be at their best and I have no doubts the former Texas A&M star will thrive again after his game Thursday. Take the over in points.

Pick: Khris Middleton Over 25.5 Points (-102)

Can’t Stop KD

Durant has arguably been the best player in the 2021 NBA Playoffs. His ability to score from wherever he wants has been on full display, averaging a ridiculous 33 points and 9.3 rebounds on 41% shooting from beyond the arc.

Game 5 was truly a magical showing for KD, collecting 49 points, 17 boards, and 10 assists in the victory. It’s remarkable he’s basically carried this team in the second round with Irving out for the last two games and Harden still trying to play through an injury.

We’re looking at one of the most gifted scorers the NBA has ever seen. While his point total is extremely high, this is what superstars do. They step up on the biggest stage. Brooklyn needs him to be at his absolute best in order to advance and he will do just that. Take the over.

Pick: Kevin Durant Over 35.5 Points (-116)
