  • Four NBA games are on the Tuesday night schedule
  • The Warriors are on the road in Orlando, and there’s a playoff rematch between the Hawks and Knicks

Tuesday night has just four games, but there’s still plenty of intrigue around the Association. We get another look at the Warriors without Steph Curry, as the Dubs take on Orlando as 8.5-point favorites.

While both have endured disappointing seasons, there’s still interest in the Knicks and Hawks matching up after a fiery playoff series in 2021. New York is listed as a one-point underdog.

The Chicago Bulls are in Wisconsin to face the Milwaukee Bucks. Billy Donovan’s team is on the second night of a back-to-back after a crucial win over Toronto on Monday. The night closes out with the Nuggets and Clippers dueling in Denver – with four losses from their last six, Denver is desperately fighting to avoid the Play-In.

Odds as of Mar 22 at FanDuel

One of the frontrunners in NBA MVP odds, Nikola Jokic has the highest points, rebounds and assists lines on Tuesday night. Former third overall pick RJ Barrett has the second highest points line at 24.5 as he continues to impress despite New York’s underwhelming campaign.

Fournier Stays Hot

Evan Fournier is shooting just under 49% from three and scoring 16.6 points per game over the last five. He’s facing an Atlanta team which ranks 25th in defense over the last ten.

In 34 games where Fournier has scored 15 or more points, he’s made three or more threes in all but one. He’s one of the more prolific outside shooters in the league since All-Star, clocking more three-point attempts per game than LeBron James, Buddy Hield, Trae Young and Devin Booker.

The Hawks are 27th in the NBA in effective field goal percentage conceded. A lack of defensive effort leads to opponents draining plenty of threes, too. Over 60% of Fournier’s field goal attempts come from three-point range.

Fournier is one of the hottest shooters in the league right now. Atlanta is a good opponent to keep this streak going. The points and threes lines are a bit uninspiring in isolation, so we’re going with this same-game parlay at decent odds.

  • Pick: Evan Fournier 15+ and 3+ made threes (-113)

Wendell Carter Keeps Putting Up Numbers

Wendell Carter Jr is scoring 20.2 points per game since the break. He’s gone over this points line in each of his last four, and seven of his last nine appearances. The strength of the Warriors’ defense when Draymond Green is available is likely what leads to this slightly lower number for Carter, who is coming off a dominant 30 and 16 performance against the Thunder at the weekend.

Carter is taking more threes than ever before. He’s not renowned for his rim-running effectiveness, yet he’s been efficient on shots in the restricted area, ranking in the 81st percentile on such attempts. While the Dubs will be an elite defense with Green on the floor, we know they can still be vulnerable to size. Golden State is also bottom ten in opponent three-point rate, potentially giving Carter a lot of good outside looks.

Orlando is seventh in pace since the break. Green is going to push the ball up the court for the Dubs. There will be extra possessions for Carter to put up another impressive stat line. There’s also likely to be a few offensive rebounds for some easy points.

Carter has quietly broken out over the last few weeks. Back him to continue this hot streak.

  • Pick: Wendell Carter Jr over 16.5 points (-108)
