It’s a relatively light slate in the Association on Sunday, March 28th, with just seven contests. In the most intriguing matchup of the lot, the Philadelphia 76ers visit the NBA-best Phoenix Suns. Elsewhere, LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers face the New Orleans Pelicans in a battle between two teams fighting for a play-in spot in the West.
The Utah Jazz will also take a trip South to face the Dallas Mavericks, while out East, the Charlotte Hornets clash with the Brooklyn Nets.

Booker Continues His Tear
For some reason, Devin Booker isn’t even in the MVP conversation despite averaging 26.3 points, 5.1 rebounds, and five assists per game. With the way he’s playing right now for the Suns, it’s insane that Book doesn’t receive more recognition for being one of the NBA’s most cold-blooded scorers. Earlier this week in a big win over the Nuggets, the All-Star guard erupted 49 points in 39 minutes of action while also dishing out 10 dimes. Talk about versatility.
In fact, Booker has hit the over in points in five straight games, torching the Timberwolves, Bulls, Kings, and Rockets as well. Chris Paul might be the leader for Phoenix, but Book is the ultimate tone-setter and a lethal offensive weapon who can go off on any given night. The 26-year-old also cooked the Sixers for 35 points in February. Considering his current hot streak, expect Booker to ball out again at home.

Tatum Does it All
The Celtics are surging at the best possible time, winning five in a row and going 9-1 in their last 10 games. They’ve been one of the best teams in the Association since January and a huge reason for Boston’s success is Jayson Tatum. Whether it’s dropping 30+ or dishing out assists, the former Duke standout is doing it all. With that in mind, points+assists will be the focus for Sunday.
Tatum is averaging 30 points and 4.8 dimes in his last five outings. the C’s superstar is truly a three-level scorer and has elevated every part of his game, which is massive for Boston. This pick holds a ton of value because the 24-year-old is showing out against every opponent right now, evident by his numbers. Also, the Timberwolves allow the fifth-most assists per contest in the league. With other over/under at 34.5, this is worth a bet.
