There are seven games on the NBA schedule for May 4th. Among them is an attractive battle between two of the top three teams in the NBA’s Eastern Conference, the Brooklyn Nets and the Milwaukee Bucks.

Several teams are without starters for Tuesday’s games, including James Harden of the Brooklyn Nets, Patrick Beverley of the Los Angeles Cippers and De’Aaron Fox of the Sacramento Kings.

NBA Injury News – May 4th

  • [9am EST]: Nets coach Steve Nash told the New York Daily News that it remains unclear whether James Harden will return from a nagging hamstring strain before the playoffs
  • [9am EST]: Clippers coach Tyronn Lue told Sports Illustrated that he expects Patrick Beverley (fractured metacarpal bone in his left hand) to be back in action within the next couple of games

The Cavaliers are expected to shut down PF Larry Nance (fractured right thumb) for the remainder of the season. PG Darius Garland (ankle), PG Matthew Dellavedova (neck), C Isaiah Hartenstein (concussion), PF Lamar Stevens (concussion), PF Taurean Prince (knee surgery) and SG Dylan Windler (knee surgery) are out.
