Two games into the second round of the NBA playoffs, you have to give the players of the Phoenix Suns and Miami Heat their props. At the same time, why not let their player props give a little back to you?
Both the Suns and Heat are in the driver’s seat as they take their shows on the road in their NBA second-round playoff series. In the Western Conference, Phoenix is leading the Dallas Mavericks 2-0 as the action shifts to the Big D.
Meanwhile in the East, the City of Brotherly Love will seek to help the Philadelphia 76ers rally from their 2-0 disadvantage against the Miami Heat. Miami is a 3-point road favorite for Game 3 at Philly. At Dallas, it’s the Mavs who are holding forth as the 1-point home chalk over the Suns.

Prop #1: Make Book on Booker
Since returning to action following a three-game absence due to a hamstring strain, Suns shooting guard Devin Booker is getting better every game. He scored 13 points in his return from the injury in the first-round series clincher over the New Orleans Pelicans.
One. Two. Three.

— Phoenix Suns (@Suns) May 5, 2022
Booker netted 23 points in the series opener against Dallas, upping that output to 30 points in Game 2. That performance marked the 12th time in 27 NBA playoff games that Booker scored 30 or more points.
Over his postseason career, Booker has turned in some impressive road efforts. He poured in 42 points in Game 4 of last year’s NBA Finals at Milwaukee. In series clinchers last season, he scored 47 points at the Lakers in Round 1 and 34 at Denver in Round 2.
- Pick: Phoenix Suns Devin Booker over 26.5 points (-106). 1 unit
Prop #2: Harris Stepping Up for Sixers
Minus center Joel Embiid (concussion), someone needed to step up offensively for the 76ers. So far, that guy’s been forward Tobias Harris.
Embiid has been ruled out again for Game 3. That’s enabling the Heat to give extra defensive attention to Sixers guards James Harden and Tyrese Maxey. It also means that Harris is becoming a vital offensive option.
Tobias Harris’ 2022 postseason thus far:
8 GP
40.1 MPG
19.4 PPG
8.4 RPG
2.8 APG
1 SPG
1 BPG
1.6 TPG
53.6% FG (7.5 FGM/14 FGA)
41% 3PT (2 3PM/4.9 3PA)
86.4% FT
63.7 TS%He’s averaging 24 PPG on 57.1% shooting vs. Miami. Playing the best basketball of his career.
— Harrison Grimm (@Harrison_Grimm) May 5, 2022
He’s averaging 17.5 field goal attempts in two games against Miami. In the first round against Toronto, Harris shot the ball just 12.8 times per game.
With 27 and 21 points in the first two games against the Heat, Harris has gone over his set total for Game 3 twice. At home, he should be even more effective.
- Pick: Philadelphia 76ers Tobias Harris over 19.5 points (-104), 1 unit
