  • Five games line the NBA board for Thursday, November 4, 2021
  • A great way to get in on the action are NBA player props and there are more than enough to keep bettors busy tonight
  • See below to find out some of the best player props to bet on tonight

Thursday nights still belong to the NFL but it’s hard to ignore the hardwood on nights like tonight when we have five games on tap. It’s still so early in the season that the books are not quite up to par, so bettors would be wise to strike.

We’re not getting the TNT double headers but the good news is NBA TV is stepping up and helping us out. They’ve got a back to back tonight beginning with the Boston Celtics and Miami Heat at 7:30pm ET. As soon as they get finished, we’ll be taken to Phoenix to watch the Suns host the Houston Rockets. Tonight has all the makings of a special one and we need to get involved.

There are more unforeseen roster changes in the NBA than any other sport. Because of that, many books are reluctant to post player prop lines too early in the day. For that reason, not all of the teams in action tonight are included in the table below. Scroll down to see the lines that are available and a couple of best bets.

Josh Giddey is a Dish Guy

People were scratching their heads when the Oklahoma City Thunder took Josh Giddey with the sixth overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft. Not everyone, but definitely the casuals out there. But the Thunder knew there was something special about the 19-year-old from Australia.

Now everyone who watches the NBA are seeing the same thing Oklahoma City saw in Giddey.

Giddey does everything on the floor which is great, but for tonight we want to see some passing. It looks like that’s what will happen because over his last three games, Giddey has recorded at least six assists in all of them. That includes a 10-assist game against this same Los Angeles Lakers team.

LeBron James didn’t play in the last game against the Thunder but I don’t think that matters. There are only three teams in the NBA that are worse in terms of opponent assists per field goal made metric. I think Giddey will dish out at least six dimes tonight.

  • The Pick: Josh Giddey Over 5.5 Assists (+116)

Jalen Green Will Shoot the Ball

We can make this a rookie night by taking another first-year guy in the late slot in Jalen Green. Like all rookies he’s a tough one to figure out but I think there may be an angle to take tonight and it’s plus money. We’ll just need Jalen to do what he seems to like doing which is shooting the ball from deep.

Through his last five games, Green has attempted at least eight threes in four of them. He’s hit the double digit mark twice including last game where he canned five of them. His confidence has to be high after that one which means he should pull a heat check tonight.

Only one team in the NBA allows opponents to hit threes at a higher rate than Phoenix so Green is set up nicely to drain at least three tonight.

  • The Pick: Jalen Green Over 2.5 Made Threes (+136)
