The OKC Thunder can punch their ticket to the Western Conference Final tonight by knocking off the Nuggets in Denver. The Thunder lead the best-of-seven series 3-2 in the NBA playoff bracket, and I’ve cooked up a same-game parlay banking on Lu Dort’s three-point success and the OKC defensive prowess to carry them to the next round.
OKC Thunder vs DEN Nuggets Same-Game Parlay
The SGP starts with 2+ threes for Dort, the Thunder’s most productive long range shooter this postseason. My next leg is under 9.5 points for Michael Porter, who is dealing with a horrible shoulder injury. My anchor leg is under 106.5 points for Denver, who I expect to be gassed on less than 48 hours rest. Add it all up, and we’re looking at a +325 pay day if it hits.

OKC Thunder vs DEN Nuggets Same-Game Parlay Pick #1: Luguentz Dort 2+ Threes
No OKC shooter is averaging more three-point attempts or makes than Dort in the playoffs. He’s splashed at least two triples in four of five games in this series, and in six of nine postseason contests in 2025. He’s taken 18 threes in the last two games alone, the majority of which have been wide open.
That’s been a trend for Dort all series, as he’s getting lost by the Denver defense as they converge on SGA and the other more prolific scorers. 87% of his three-point attempts against Denver have been considered open or wide open looks, and he’s too good of a shooter not to capitalize.
Dort was 4-of-8 in Game 5 from downtown, and is fresh off a regular season in which he shot a career-best 41.2% from beyond the arc.
OKC vs DEN SGP Pick #2: Michael Porter Jr. Under 9.5 Points
Moving on to Porter next, whose shoulder injury is so bad, he can barely lift his left arm over his head. It’s been an issue all series, resulting in a drastic decline in playing time and efficiency. Porter has played less than 30 minutes in three of five games, and is 2-of-14 from the field over his last two starts. Considering the rest of the Nuggets Big 5 are logging north of 40 minutes each night, Porter’s lack of floor time is alarming.
Michael Porter PPG vs OKC
The 26-year-old has scored 8 points or less in all but one game versus OKC, and his lone bucket in Game 5 came on a dunk. It’s admirable that he’s trying to play through the pain, but the Thunder defense is relentless.
They feature four of the top-20 players in defensive win shares. They’re long, fast and extremely athletic, and contest virtually every shot. That’s a nightmare for someone trying to score with one good arm.
Thunder vs Nuggets Same-Game Parlay Pick #3: Denver Nuggets Under 106.5 Points
Given the heavy minutes the Denver starters are logging, fatigue is going to catch up to them. That was the case in Game 4 on short rest, and I’m expecting a similar result less than 48 hours after Game 5. That’s especially true given they had to travel back from OKC, and will play at altitude tonight.
If we look back at Game 4, an exhausted Nuggets team mustered only 87 points on 31% shooting. They committed 14 turnovers and got just 7 points off the fast break. Nikola Jokic, Jamal Murray and Christian Braun are all playing 42+ minutes a night, and even when rested they’ve exceeded 106.5 points only twice, and one of those games went to overtime.
The lack of depth is going to be their Achilles Heel, as you can’t take down the NBA Championship odds favorites without a bench.
The trends support a low-scoring game as well. Game 6’s are 58% to the under since 2003 in the second round and beyond. That percentage climbs to 65% when the home team is the underdog over a 54 game sample size. I expect a low-scoring contest tonight, particularly from the Denver side.
