The #3 New York Knicks (59-35, 44-46-4 ATS) and #4 Indiana Pacers (58-34, 43-47-2 ATS) will meet in an unlikely 2025 Eastern Conference final after both vanquished heavily-favored opponents in the second round of the NBA playoff bracket.
The Knicks, who will host Games 1 and 2, plus 5 and 7 if necessary, have opened as slight favorites to advance to their first NBA final since 1999. Back in the conference final for the second straight season, the Pacers are looking for their first NBA finals berth since 2000.

The Knicks/Pacers series price has opened with New York as a -150 favorite to move onto the NBA final, giving New York a 60% implied probability to advance. The Pacers come back as a +120 underdogs (45.45% implied win probability).
The game spread has opened with New York -1.5 at +155 odds. Indiana +1.5 is priced at -185. The over/under on 5.5 games favors the over at -155. Under 5.5 is a +130 underdog.
In the NBA Championship odds, New York is currently priced at +360 to win, second only to the OKC Thunder (+130). The Pacers are +600 longshots.
The 2025 Eastern Conference final will commence at Madison Square Garden in New York on Wednesday, May 21st at 8:10 pm ET. The teams will play every other day until the conclusion of the series.

The teams met three times in the regular season with New York winning twice, once at home (123-98 on Oct. 25th) and once on the road (128-115 on Feb. 11th). Indiana’s lone victory came in Indianapolis (132-121 on Nov. 10th).
The first matchup stayed under the total of 229.0 while the latter two both went over (229.5 on Nov. 10th and a massive 242.0-point total on Feb. 11th).
The Pacers, of course, bounced the Knicks from the 2024 NBA playoffs in the second round, running away with Game 7 (130-109) on the road and winning all four quarters in the process.

The Game 1 Pacers/Knicks odds see New York favored by 3.5 points at home. On the moneyline, the Knicks are -180 to open the series with a win. Indiana comes back as a +150 road underdog.
