The #3 New York Knicks (59-35, 44-46-4 ATS) and #4 Indiana Pacers (58-34, 43-47-2 ATS) will meet in an unlikely 2025 Eastern Conference final after both vanquished heavily-favored opponents in the second round of the NBA playoff bracket.

The Knicks, who will host Games 1 and 2, plus 5 and 7 if necessary, have opened as slight favorites to advance to their first NBA final since 1999. Back in the conference final for the second straight season, the Pacers are looking for their first NBA finals berth since 2000.

The teams met three times in the regular season with New York winning twice, once at home (123-98 on Oct. 25th) and once on the road (128-115 on Feb. 11th). Indiana’s lone victory came in Indianapolis (132-121 on Nov. 10th).

The first matchup stayed under the total of 229.0 while the latter two both went over (229.5 on Nov. 10th and a massive 242.0-point total on Feb. 11th).

The Pacers, of course, bounced the Knicks from the 2024 NBA playoffs in the second round, running away with Game 7 (130-109) on the road and winning all four quarters in the process.
