A comeback for the ages propelled the Indiana Pacers (58-35, 24-22 away, 43-48-1 ATS) to a 138-135 overtime Game 1 victory and 1-0 lead in the 2025 Eastern Conference final against the New York Knicks (60-35, 31-17 home, 45-46-4 ATS). Immediately after the clock struck zero on Game 1, the Pacers/Knicks Game 2 odds were posted, and they look remarkably similar to the Game 1 lines, except for the total.

Tyrese Haliburton played arguably the best postseason game of his career on Wednesday, scoring a team-high 31 points with 11 assists and four rebounds on 12-of-23 shooting from the floor. Aaron Nesmith added 30 points on an efficient 9-of-13 from the field.
The Knicks wasted a massive night from Jalen Brunson (43 points and five assists on 15-of-24 shooting from the field) and a big double-double from Karl-Anthony Towns (35 points, 12 rebounds).

The Knicks entered the series as -150 favorites to advance to the NBA final, something they haven’t done since 1999. But after the Pacers stole Game 1 on the road, Indiana became a -165 favorite to advance. Indiana’s last trip to the NBA final came in the year 2000.
The game total now favors under 5.5 games (-135). Prior to Game 1, over 5.5 was a -155 favorite with under 5.5 at +130.
