- Five more games are on the NBA calendar on Tuesday, Oct. 28th

The new NBA season rolls on tonight with another quintet of games, starting with 76ers vs Wizards at 7:05 pm ET and ending with Clippers vs Warriors in a rare 11:05 pm ET start. I have asked our internal A.I. to provide its best NBA player-prop pick from each of the five games.
The table below sets out its NBA prop pick for each game (listed in chronological order) plus the sportsbook currently offering the best price on that pick. Under the table, I have provided the A.I.’s justification for each pick, plus a one-click option to tail the bet.
A.I. NBA Player-Prop Picks Today (Oct 28)
Today’s A.I. NBA picks include two plus-money bangers (LaMelo Ball over 8.5 assists at +112 and James Harden over 9.5 assists at +115). The A.I. had three plus-money bets yesterday and hit all three.
For the third straight day, the A.I. has exclusively targeted over bets on Tuesday. It did bet an under on the first day I generated A.I. NBA prop picks – and it nailed that pick (Lu Dort under 2.5 threes vs ATL on October 25) – so it does know that’s allowed and should have whatever the A.I. version of confidence is when it comes to under bets. Alas.
A.I. NBA prop record: 13-12 (+0.55 units)
PHI 76ers vs WSH Wizards Player Prop Pick: Maxey Over 28.5 Points
A.I. explanation: “Maxey enters this matchup riding an incredible scoring surge, averaging 37.0 points per game while shouldering a massive 31.1% usage rate for Philadelphia’s offense. His current form represents elite-level production that creates clear betting value against Washington’s defensive struggles. His three-point shooting has reached unsustainable yet profitable heights, connecting on 51.7% of threes on 9.7 attempts per game.
Washington’s defensive metrics suggest another explosive performance from Maxey is on the way. Their 126.3 points allowed per game and .563 opponent EFG% indicate systematic breakdowns that elite scorers consistently exploit. The Wizards’ particular weakness defending the perimeter (14.3 threes allowed per game) aligns perfectly with Maxey’s current three-point barrage.”
CHA Hornets vs MIA Heat Player Prop Pick: Ball Over 8.5 Assists
A.I. explanation: “While Ball’s scoring always draws attention, the true value lies in his playmaking responsibilities without Brandon Miller available. Ball currently averages 9.7 assists per game, a full assist above this line, while his 30.6% usage rate and primary-creator role should generate ample opportunities against Miami’s aggressive defense.
The Hornets’ up-tempo style creates numerous assist chances, and Ball’s elite court vision combined with Charlotte’s 132.0 points per game suggests consistent playmaking volume. Ball is averaging 10.5 assists in road contests where pace typically increases. At plus-money odds, this represents exceptional value given his statistical baseline and expanded responsibilities.”
SAC Kings vs OKC Thunder Player Prop Pick: Sabonis Over 12.5 Rebounds
A.I. explanation: “This pick is a direct play against Sacramento’s most glaring weakness. While the Kings are the worst rebounding team in the league, Domantas Sabonis stands as their lone elite force on the glass. He is averaging 13.0 rebounds per game this season and is tasked with cleaning up virtually every defensive possession.
The matchup against a tough Thunder defense should only increase his opportunities. Oklahoma City’s top-tier defense forces opponents into a low 42.0 field-goal percentage, which naturally leads to more missed shots and available rebounds for Sabonis to collect. He will be on the floor for heavy minutes and is the focal point of Sacramento’s interior presence.”
NY Knicks vs MIL Bucks Player Prop Pick: Towns Over 11.5 Rebounds
A.I. explanation: “Assuming he suits up, this represents the most compelling matchup-based prop on the board. Towns has been a beast on the glass, averaging 14.0 rebounds per game and recording a double-double in all three of his contests this season. With center Mitchell Robinson out, the primary rebounding duties fall squarely on Towns’ shoulders. He is the undisputed anchor on the glass for New York. If he’s cleared to play, Towns is set to feast against a vulnerable Bucks frontcourt that struggles to control the defensive glass, allowing 11.0 offensive rebounds per game.”
LA Clippers vs GS Warriors Player Prop Pick: Harden Over 9.5 Assists
A.I. explanation: “This selection capitalizes on a perfect storm of usage, matchup, and market value. With Beal sidelined, Harden assumes even greater playmaking responsibilities for an offense that already relies heavily on his court vision. He’s averaging 10.3 assists per game this season and has recorded double-digit assists in tw of his three games.
The matchup favors assist accumulation; Golden State allows 29.2 assists per game to opponents – a generous mark that reflects their struggles with defensive rotations and communication. Harden’s ability to probe defenses and create advantages for teammates should find plenty of opportunities against a Warriors defense that’s struggling to limit opponent ball movement. The plus-money odds provide excellent value for a prop where both role and matchup align favorably.”
