It took the full seven games but the heavily favored #1 OKC Thunder (76- 17, 50-7 home, 35-10 away, 57-33-4 ATS) finally saw off Denver in the West semifinals, setting up a Western Conference final against the #6 Minnesota Timberwolves (57-35, 29-17 home, 28-18 away, 46-45-1 ATS), who breezed through their first two opponents in just five games apiece.

While Minnesota will be the more-rested side, the opening Thunder vs Timberwolves series odds heavily favor OKC advancing to its first NBA finals since 2012.

The game spread shows OKC as a -162 favorite to win the series by multiple games. Minnesota is a +132 underdog to at least force a Game 7. The game total is sitting at 5.5 with the over favored at -134.

The Wolves had more success than most teams against OKC in the regular season, going 2-2 in four contests, splitted a pair of home and road games. Minnesota’s 131-128 OT win at the Paycom Center on Feb. 24 – the most-recent meeting between the teams – was one of just six home setbacks for the Thunder in the regular season. They dropped one more (Game 1 against the Nuggets in the second round of the NBA playoff bracket) in the postseason.
