Richmond, who did not start, scored 25 of his career-high 27 points in the second half, and he had 17 consecutive Pirates’ points during a five-minute stretch to help the Pirates overcame a 54-45 deficit. He was 10 of 13 from he field.
Kadary Richmond's last three games for Seton Hall: 11 PPG, 6.3 RPG, 11.3 APG. Starting to become more and more of an all-around threat at lead guard. An incredible ceiling at 6-6.

The Hall Perseveres
Pirates’ guard Bryce Aiken had 22 points and seven assists in the the first meeting with UConn, but he has missed the last seven games with concussion symptoms and is questionable tonight.
Harvard transfer Aiken had become the Pirates’ de facto closer even in games he did not start, taking charge of the offense down the stretch. The Hall is 4-3 in his absence, when Richmond entered the lineup for good and took over much of the ball-handling responsibilities.
Kevin Willard on Jared Rhoden: “I think he’s getting back to how he was playing before the COVID shutdown. He’s playing simple basketball, letting the game come to him…when he does that, he’s as good as anybody.” #shbb #HALLin

Seton Hall vs UConn Prediction
UConn has the revenge factor on its side, and its only loss bad loss in its last 10 games was a 59-55 home loss to Creighton that caught the Huskies looking ahead to a three-game stretch against Villanova, Marquette and Xavier. Losses to DePaul and St. John’s have dropped the Pirates into the middle of the Big East pack as they enter the most difficult of their six remaining games. Revenge plays here.
The pick: UConn -5.5 (-110)
