KJ Jefferson Passing Touchdowns

Arkansas quarterback KJ Jefferson is off to a scorching hot start in 2023. The senior quarterback has racked up 382 passing yards and 5 touchdowns in limited action thus far. More importantly, Jefferson has been efficient while completing 73.8% of his passes.

Remember, Jefferson lit up the BYU Cougars last season to the tune of 367 yards and 5 touchdowns. The Cougars defense may still be having nightmares. Although BYU’s defensive stats look great this season, they’ve feasted on lesser competition in Sam Houston and Southern Utah.

Moreover, Arkansas has run all over their competition so far in 2023, so Jefferson has yet to attempt more than 23 passes. Look for Arkansas to unleash their offense in week 3. Bet KJ Jefferson over 1.5 passing touchdowns with confidence.

Pick: KJ Jefferson over 1.5 passing touchdowns (+110)

Quinshon Judkins Receiving Yards

Mississippi’s sophomore back is an absolute force in the running game. In fact, Quinshon Judkins is one of the very best running backs in the country. The Alabama native averaged a phenomenal 5.7 yards per carry as a freshman in 2022, displaying the vision, balance, and change of direction skills needed to become an early-round NFL draft pick.

However, Judkins has yet to blossom as a collegiate pass-catcher. In fact, he’s surpassed 15 receiving yards just three times in his 15-game college career. Judkins has never had a game with more than 3 receptions, and has 3 career games without a reception. With Wisconsin set as 18-point favorites in the college football odds, there’s no reason to believe that will change on Saturday. Ole Miss should be running the ball early and often in this matchup.

While Georgia Tech is unlikely to shut Judkins down – in fact, the Yellow Jackets have surrendered an astounding 6.7 yards per carry so far in 2023, we’re betting on the fact that Judkins won’t do his damage in the passing game. Moreover, Lane Kiffen is sure to want to give his star back some rest this early in the season. Take Quinshon Judkins under 15 receiving yards and watch him do his damage on the ground on Saturday.

Pick: Quinshon Judkins under 15.5 receiving yards (-115)
