The NFL season begins in less than three months with camp slated to open in just over six weeks. Yes, football is right around the corner, which means it’s time to look at NFL win totals. First up is the Indianapolis Colts.

Last year the Andrew Luck-led team cruised to an 11-5 record in the anemic AFC South. However, towards the end of the year the team seemed to struggle. Even though the Colts posted an amazing comeback in the wildcard game against the Chiefs, a week later the teams was dismantled by the Patriots.

Looking ahead to the 2014 season, Indianapolis hopes to solidify its offense, which was ranked 17th in passing and 21st in rushing. The team believes newly drafted tackle Jack Mewhort and wide receiver Donte Moncrief can bolster the offense but the real question will be whether Reggie Wayne can rebound from injury.

As far as the win total is concerned, odds makers have the team at 9.5 o/u with the Colts having the easiest schedule with opponents posting a .430 winning percentage in 2013.

Sure, its AFC South competition may be better than last year but Luck and company – despite having Robert Mathis suspended for four games – should roll once again in the division.
