The  San Francisco 49ers (2-2) and Arizona Cardinals (4-0) will meet for the first time this season at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. The kickoff is scheduled for 4:25 pm ET on FOX. Perfect football weather is expected for this one with temperatures in the lower 80s and no precipitation whatsoever.
The Cardinals are fresh off of a huge 37-20 win over the Los Angeles Rams last week to take sole possession of first place in the division. They are the last undefeated team left in the NFL at the moment. Meanwhile, the 49ers lost starting quarterback, Jimmy Garoppolo, last week halfway through their 28-21 loss to the Seattle Seahawks. The signal caller won’t play this week, so rookie first round pick Trey Lance makes his first career NFL start.
San Francisco opened as 1-point favorites when the look ahead lines were released but now find themselves 5 point underdogs. The total has moved from 46.5 all the way up to 48 as bettors seem to be expecting points. As always, there are plenty of player props to consider and that is what we will talk about here.

Deebo Samuel is Unstoppable
So far this season only three players in the NFL have been targeted more than Deebo Samuel. Because of that, only one player has recorded more receiving yards. He is a beast and he is finally being force fed.
When you are getting production like this, it’s understandable why a team would want to just keep feeding their beast.

We all know that Samuel is a Yards after catch monster. He leads the NFL with 271 YAC and the closest person to him is D’Andre Swift who is 31 yards behind. It’s a big reason why he’s leading the NFL in yards per games with 122.5. But the yards might not be the best way to target Samuel this week.
Obviously with the elevated targets Samuel is catching more balls. That’s just how football works. But the sports books aren’t turning him into a 7.5 reception guy. Yet. I think we still have an opportunity to capitalize because I think that’s where we are headed with Samuel.
Right now we can get Samuel’s reception prop at 6.5 for +115. The juice is extremely high but it might be worth the squeeze. Samuel has topped this number in three of the first four games of the season and the 49ers will likely chase points in this one. Even with quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo sitting out, Samuel will just run routes closer to the line of scrimmage. No matter what, it seems like Samuel will catch at least 7 balls on Sunday.
- The Pick: Deebo Samuel Over 6.5 Receptions (+115) wager 0.1 unit to win 0.115 units

Who Scores?
We need a touchdown scorer prop especially on the 4pm ET slate of games. It just makes the whole experience more enjoyable. After looking everything over, I am backing a familiar face.
Deebo Samuel is IN! @49ers cut the lead to 7 with 1:20 left.

Only one team in the NFL has given up more receiving touchdowns to wide receivers than the Arizona Cardinals. Samuel just found pay dirt twice last week, and even though one was on a play where he wasn’t covered, the other was a legit score that can be replicated. Despite Trey Lance making his first NFL start under center Sunday, Samuel is a decent bet to score a touchdown.

- 2021 Touchdown Scorer prop record 3-9 / -0.6 units
