The first week of the season is nearly complete, and I have asked Sportradar’s A.I. to provide its best bets, both ATS and O/U, for all 16 NFL Week 2 games.
The A.I. leaned heavily toward unders in Week 1, and that paid off somewhat, posting an 8-7 O/U record ahead of Sunday Night Football. It was less successful against the spread, going just 6-9 so far. It’s somewhat notable that, among the seven ATS picks it got right, it also hit the O/U in four of those, meaning two-leg SGPs with the A.I.’s spread pick and O/U pick may end up being profitable. Only time will tell.
The table below lists the ATS and O/U A.I. NFL picks for all Week 2 games.

A.I. NFL Week 2 Picks Include 14 Unders
The A.I. is going even harder on unders this week. After taking 12 unders in Week 1, our A.I. is going with a massive 14 under bets in its Week 2 picks. The only overs it likes are O 45.5 in Seahawks vs Steelers, and O 47.5 in Giants vs Cowboys.
It’s significant that the A.I. went 0-4 on its four over bets in Week 1.
The first 15 NFL games of the season heavily skewed to the under, going 3-12 O/U. The three games that hit the over were Steelers/Jets (66 points against a miniscule total of 38 points), Chiefs/Chargers (48 points against a total of 45.5 points), and Ravens/Bills (81 points against a total of 51.5).
NFL A.I. Picks Skew to Favorites in Week 2
The A.I. is also leaning pretty heavily to the chalk in Week 2, taking nine favorites to cover the spread and just seven underdogs, which is the exact same split it had in Week 1. Notably, our A.I. is backing the two biggest underdogs on the board: the Browns +11.5 at the Ravens, and the Jets +7.0 versus the Bills.
The A.I. took all five of the biggest favorites to cover in Week 1, going 3-2 ATS in those matchups. It took seven underdogs to cover in Week 1 and is just 1-5 heading into MNF between the Vikings and Bears, where it has Chicago to cover the spread as a 1.5-point home underdog in the Monday Night Football odds.
