There is just something about a Saturday night NFL Playoff Game. For starters, we’ve talked about this before, the game is on a Saturday. Everyone knows that Saturday is the greatest day of the week. Has been since we were kids. Now, on top of that, it’s at night when we can really get loose if you know what I mean. Just think about all the fun we had last week with the Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers. That game was a movie that we never wanted to end. This week, we’ve got another division rivalry game, but this time it’s the NFC West teams getting it on. We’re talking the San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks. The smartest thing we can do is throw in a little SGP to get the blood pumping. It works every time. Feels smart.

49ers vs Seahawks SGP Leg #1 – Christian McCaffrey Will Be Tired After This Game

The 49ers are in a spot where they just don’t have many guys left. Brandon Aiyuk never put on a uniform this season, Deebo Samuel isn’t on the team anymore, and George Kittle went down with an injury last week. At a time when teams want to lean on their stars, the 49ers only have one left, and his name is Christian McCaffrey.

Lucky for them, McCaffrey is a guy they can trust. (We can too.)

I’m thinking we see a lot of McCaffrey in this game. At the end of the day, he’s the best offensive player on the 49ers’ roster. The thing is, he’s a running back going up against the best run defense in the NFL. In two meetings with Seattle this season, McCaffrey only gained 92 yards on the ground after 30 carries. That’s terrible.

If the Niners want to get Christian involved in a meaningful way, it will likely be through the air. Other teams chose to go this route, as no team in the NFL allowed more receptions to the running back position than Seattle. McCaffrey himself was responsible for 15 of those receptions. I’m thinking we’re safe to take his 6+ catches. Now we just need something to pair it with. Feels easy.

SF vs SEA Same-Game Parlay Leg #2 – Jake Tonges Is The Perfect “Who The Hell Is That Guy?”

I know that I said the 49ers don’t really have any guys they can trust outside of McCaffrey, but they’re going to have to find someone. As much as we would like them to, they can’t throw the ball to McCaffrey every time. That would be dumb. At the end of the day, someone else will have to step up.

That someone could easily be Jake Tonges.

Even though Jake qualifies as a “who the hell is that guy?”, he’s really not. He’s filled in for George Kittle a few times this season and actually looked legit. In fact, the last four times Kittle was out, Tonges went for 41+ receiving yards in every game. The guy could be an actual stud, and no one even knows about it.

On top of giving it up to running backs in the pass game, Seattle was also pretty weak at guarding tight ends. Only four teams in the entire NFL allowed more receptions to the position. The books set Jake’s line pretty high for receptions at 5+, so that may be a no-go, but his receiving yards look to be low-hanging fruit. All we need him to do is go for 25+, and we’re home free. That could happen in any type of game script. Feels easy.
