The Bills are the favorite in the Super Bowl odds at +350. The Bolts are the ninth choice at +2800, while the Colts, who are eliminated from postseason contention, are off the board.
SGP Pick #1: Los Angeles Chargers Moneyline
The LA Chargers have everything to play for, in the form of a playoff berth – while the Colts are playing out the string by handing the keys to journeyman QB Nick Foles to make his first start in a year. Indy has dropped four straight, the latest of which was in gruesome fashion, as they led 33-0 at halftime against the Vikings.
I asked #Colts safety Julian Blackmon about the 2nd half collapse against MIN: "It's embarrassing. As a Colt player and for I'm sure the fans at home, we think about that kind of thing. For us, it's frustrating. We're on the wrong side of history."

The Colts have also lost four straight Monday Night Football affairs, and are 1-4 against teams with winning records on the campaign. They’re also without star running back Jonathan Taylor, who has been shut down for the remainder of the season. The Chargers are picking things up at the right time, winning three of four. Our model has this game going in the Chargers favor 22.6-16.7 over Indianapolis.
SGP Pick #2: Justin Herbert Over 279.5 Passing Yards
Justin Herbert has been racking up yards in droves of late, passing for 280 yards in four of his last five outings (the other contest he had 274 yards). In his last three, Herbert’s lowest output was 313, as he’s been aided by the healthy returns of receivers Keenan Allen and Mike Williams. That’s something to consider in the Week 16 player props.
This is impossible. There’s no window whatsoever. Justin Herbert threw it hard enough to create one. That ball could’ve gone through a car wash and there wouldn’t be a drop of water on it. pic.twitter.com/waT8ZSBHZK

In their latest collapse, the Colts surrendered a whopping 460 passing yards to Kirk Cousins. For the campaign, Herbert has averaged 287.1 passing yards per game, which ranks second in the NFL. Indy’s coverage unit is ranked 14th in the NFL, according to Pro Football Focus.
SGP Pick #3: Joshua Palmer Over 39.5 Receiving Yards
If we’re going to expect Justin Herbert to blow over his passing yardage total, it stands to reason that we should pair that with one of his pass catchers. Despite the aforementioned Mike Williams and Keenan Allen returning, 2021 third round pick Joshua Palmer has remained a favorite target of Herbert.
Palmer has reached the 40-yard milestone in his last eight contests. In December he’s been targeted over seven times per game in three times suiting up. He makes his targets count also, as he was a perfect 5-for-5 last week for 49 yards, which was actually his lowest output in the last five outings. He must definitely be looked at in your Chargers vs Colts props for this Monday Night Football battle.
