Chiefs vs Broncos

• Pick: Chiefs

The 9-3 Chiefs travel to Denver to face the 3-9 Broncos. Kansas City has won five of six. Denver has been hobbling, dropping eight of their last nine.

KC is tied with the Bills for the all-important first seed but are second because they lost to Buffalo this year. According to Pro Football Focus, the Chiefs are the second-best team in football (first on offense, 14th on D). Their counterparts have the second-worst offense.

The Chiefs have won a whopping 13 straight contests against their AFC West rival.

Eagles vs Giants

• Pick: Eagles

The league-leading 11-1 Eagles travel to face the 7-4-1 Giants. After rushing to a 6-1 start, New York has crashed back down to earth, going 1-3-1 in their last five.

It could be a long day for the Giants. They’re the fourth-worst-ranked D in the NFL, and the second-worst coverage unit. Eagles QB Jalen Hurts has the most rushing TD’s of any QB (9), to go along with 20 touchdown passes. He’s accounted for at least two TD’s in his last eight affairs, and Philly has won 13 of 16 against their NFC East foes.

Vikings vs Lions

• Pick: Vikings

This last leg will increase our odds the most, as the 10-2 Vikings are interestingly listed as +110 underdogs to the 5-7 Lions. Detroit has won four of their last five, though Minnesota has victories in nine of ten. Minnesota is a league-best 9-0 in one-score games.

A win by the Vikes would lock up the NFC North. They too have dominated in this matchup in recent history, taking nine of their last ten meetings. Minnesota is the fourth-best team, according to PFF, with the eighth-ranked offense and sixth D. Their counterparts have the sixth-worst D.

Jets vs Bills

• Pick: Jets +20

The Jets are 4-0 in their last four games ATS following a straight-up loss. They beat the Bills in 20-17 in week 9. None of their five losses on the campaign have been by more than 15 points.

Despite being the favorites in Super Bowl odds, Buffalo’s last seven games have seen them not cover the 20-point spread.

Buccaneers vs 49ers

• Pick: Buccaneers +13.5

Adding ten extra points is imperative because in four of the 49ers’ five wins during their streak, they’ve won by at least 13 points. Tampa Bay has won three of four, and despite being 6-and-6, just one loss was by more than ten points.

#49ers are 3.5 point favorites Sunday against Bucs, Tom Brady.

Brock Purdy is the first rookie QB drafted in the 7th round or undrafted to be favored in his first career start since Brad Goebel (PHI) in 1991.

This is only second time Brady has been an underdog vs. rookie QB.

Tom Brady is 23-6 straight up against rookie QB’s in his career. The Niners are down to their third-string QB Brock Purdy, who was the last pick of the 2022 draft.

Ravens vs Steelers

• Pick: Ravens +12

The Ravens are without Lamar Jackson, but Tyler Huntley got them the win last week against Denver. Though Pittsburgh has won four straight against Baltimore, none have been by more than five points. That includes a start last season by Huntley.

Baltimore’s (8-4) four losses on the season have been by a combined twelve points. Four of the Steelers’ five wins have been one-score affairs, with the other a ten-point victory.
