In one of the wildest turns of events in NFL history, the Indianapolis Colts (8-5, 2-4 away, 6-5-2 ATS, 7-6 O/U) will have 44-year-old Philip Rivers under center when they visit the Seattle Seahawks (10-3, 4-2, 10-3 ATS, 8-5 O/U) in Week 15. The next pass Rivers throws will be his first since January 2021.

Just a tiebreaker away from the #1 seed in the NFC, the Seahawks enter this contest riding a three-game win streak and positioned as overwhelming home favorites (-13.5).

Kickoff is scheduled for 1:25 pm PT/4:25 pm ET at Lumen Field. Below, find my Colts vs Seahawks picks, the latest betting lines and splits, plus key injury news.

Colts vs Seahawks Picks & Predictions

ATS Pick: Colts +14.0 (-113) at BetRivers

The Colts were the surprise of the season in the first half of the year, going 7-1 in large part to career-best play from Daniel Jones (100.2 passer rating this season). They have now lost four of five and are down their MVP, but three of those losses were one-score games. The Colts built their 7-1 record thanks as much to their depth and their defense as to Daniel Jones.

Now they’re catching two full touchdowns, and Rivers’ age and probable rust notwithstanding, that’s too many points for me to stomach. Indianapolis still possesses the tools to keep this contest more competitive than oddsmakers anticipate.

Rivers wouldn’t be getting the start if head coach Shane Steichen didn’t think he would be an improvement over sixth-round rookie Riley Leonard, who went 18-29 for 145 yards and an INT last week during a 39-16 loss at Jacksonville. With a ton of talent at the skill positions and an excellent offensive line, Rivers is stepping into one of the better situations in the league. With an above-average defense behind him, I expect the father of ten to do enough to keep the score respectable.

Game-Total Pick: Over 41.5 (-110) at bet365

This is a modest total, and one that’s dropped five full points since the Week 15 NFL odds first opened. As mentioned, I expect the Indy offense to look better with Rivers than it did last week. Yes, Seattle ranks first in the NFL in Defensive DVOA, but this is a Colts team that’s scored 30-plus seven times this season. Rivers doesn’t need to be bombing it down field to find success. The Colts have the skill-position and O-line talent to make the 44-year-old’s life easy. Quick outs and heavy doses of Jonathan Taylor will be enough to sustain drives.

If Indy does what I expect and blows its modest team total of 13.5 out of the water, the over becomes a near-lock.

Indianapolis Colts vs Seattle Seahawks Odds

On the moneyline the Colts are now as long as +700 (at DraftKings) while the best price on the Seahawks is -952 (at FanDuel). The look-ahead line – which stemmed from before the Daniel Jones injury – had the Colts at +154.

The spread has ballooned as high as 14 points, compared to the 3.5 number in the pre-injury lines.

The total has also swung wildly after opening at 46.5 and then plummeting to 41.5 when Indy lost its QB1.

Odds and commentary as of 1:08 pm ET. The lines in the table will update automatically with the best-available price for each market if the NFL odds move sufficiently before kickoff.

IND vs SEA Public-Betting Patterns

The NFL public betting percentages show overwhelming confidence in Seattle, but the money distribution reveals a fascinating divergence between recreational and professional wagering patterns.

Key Betting Splits:

  • Moneyline Handle: 67.24% backing Colts upset (+700) vs 32.76% on Seahawks (-952)
  • Spread Money: 51.14% supporting Colts +13.5 vs 48.86% on Seattle -13.5
  • Total Handle: 61.28% wagering on the over vs 38.72% on Under

The most telling indicator emerges from the moneyline action, where 89.75% of individual tickets support Seattle while 67.24% of actual dollars back Indianapolis. This classic sharp-versus-public scenario suggests larger, more sophisticated wagers favor the underdog at attractive plus-money odds.

This professional money movement aligns with my ATS pick, as sharp bettors recognize value in the Colts’ ability to stay within the inflated number.

Week 15 Injury Report: Impact Players

Player NamePositionInjuryStatusImpact Analysis
Zaire Franklin (IND)LBKneeDid Not PracticeColts’ leading tackler absence would significantly weaken run defense
Sauce Gardner (IND)CBCalfDid Not PracticeTop cornerback’s potential absence creates vulnerability against Smith-Njigba
Anthony Gould (IND)WRFootDid Not PracticeReduces Indianapolis receiving depth if unavailable
Elijah Arroyo (SEA)TEKneeDid Not PracticeSeattle tight end’s status uncertain for Sunday

Critical personnel concerns cloud both rosters heading into Sunday’s kickoff, with 29 total players listed across both injury reports.

The most concerning absences affect Indianapolis’ defensive core, with Franklin and Gardner representing anchor pieces of their scheme. However, these potential losses appear already factored into the inflated spread.
