NFL Player Prop Pick: Hunter Henry Receiving Yards
Hunter Henry just went for 90 yards and two touchdowns against Pittsburgh. Now he gets a Panthers defense allowing 74 yards per game to tight ends through three weeks. Carolina’s surrendered 222 total yards to the position, including 123 to Arizona’s tight ends on 10 targets in Week 2.
The Panthers ranked among the worst defenses against tight ends last season, allowing a whopping 11 TDs to the position. Nothing’s changed in 2025. Their linebacker corps has serious coverage issues, and they’ve shown no ability to defend the middle of the field.
Henry’s averaging 7.3 targets per game with his role expanding each week. He saw 8 targets in Week 1, dropped to 3 in Week 2, then exploded for 11 against Pittsburgh. Drake Maye’s learning to trust his tight end, and it’s showing. Henry leads New England with 13 catches for 165 yards.
The red zone usage stands out for this NFL player prop. Henry scored both Patriots touchdowns against Pittsburgh, including a fourth-down strike. He’s posting a 21% target share, fifth among all tight ends. With Stefon Diggs struggling to find his footing (hasn’t topped 60 yards yet), Henry’s become the focal point.
New England’s running game fell apart last week. Rhamondre Stevenson fumbled twice, and the backfield combined for four fumbles total. When you can’t trust your backs, you throw.
Maye attempted 37 passes against the Steelers, and that volume should continue against Carolina. At a projected over/under of 40 yards, this opening line will be too low for Henry’s current usage against this defense.
- Early Bet: Hunter Henry 40+ receiving yards

NFL Player Prop Pick: Kareem Hunt Anytime TD
The Chiefs backfield split tells you everything about this NFL prop. Hunt and Isiah Pacheco both got exactly 10 carries in Week 3, but Hunt got the touchdown from one yard out. Pacheco didn’t see a single carry inside the Giants’ 15-yard line. When Kansas City gets close, they go to Hunt.
This pattern’s been consistent for NFL player props bettors to exploit. For the second time in three weeks, Hunt and Pacheco had identical carry counts. The difference is where those carries come. Pacheco’s red zone carry came at the 12-yard line. Hunt’s came at the 1. Andy Reid trusts the veteran when it matters most.
Baltimore’s red zone defense ranks 28th in the NFL with a 78.6% touchdown rate allowed. Teams have scored 11 touchdowns on 14 red zone trips against them. They’ve given up seven rushing touchdowns in just three games. The Lions just put 224 rushing yards and four touchdowns on the ground against this unit.
The Ravens are missing key defenders. Nnamdi Madubuike (neck) and Kyle Van Noy (hamstring) remain out. They’ve missed 30 tackles in recent games and are allowing 4.9 yards per carry. Hunt’s power running style should work against a defense that can’t wrap up.
Hunt’s projected plus-money odds will reflect his backup status, but the usage says otherwise for this NFL player prop. While Pacheco gets work between the 20s, Hunt gets the goal line carries. Against a Ravens defense allowing touchdowns on nearly 80% of red zone possessions, that’s the only stat that matters.
- Early Bet: Kareem Hunt anytime TD
NFL Player Prop Pick: Matthew Golden Receiving Yards
Golden’s snap count keeps climbing for this NFL props play. He went from 48% in Week 1 to 59% in Week 2, then 69% in Week 3. His route participation jumped even more dramatically: 57%, 68%, then 84%. The rookie led Green Bay with 52 receiving yards against Cleveland on four catches.
The opportunity just expanded significantly for NFL player props. Jayden Reed landed on injured reserve with a broken clavicle. Reed was Jordan Love’s top target last season with 55 catches for 857 yards. Christian Watson remains on PUP until at least Week 6. Golden moves from fourth option to clear number two behind Romeo Doubs.
Dallas has the worst pass defense in football. They’ve allowed the most receiving yards to wide receivers this season and surrendered 13 pass plays of 25-plus yards, including five touchdown passes of that distance. They rank dead last in pass defense overall.
The Cowboys just let Caleb Williams throw four touchdowns against them. Luther Burden III dropped 101 yards and a touchdown on just three catches. Three Dallas pass rushers posted 0% pass rush win rates in Week 3. Rex Ryan called them the “Dumbsday defense” and he wasn’t wrong.
Golden ran deep routes for 34 air yards in Week 3 despite Green Bay playing a low-scoring game. The Packers are 6.5-point road favorites, which could mean plenty of passing. With no pass rush and a secondary getting burned weekly, Love should have time to find Golden downfield. At a projected O/U of 40 yards, this NFL player prop line won’t be caught up to Golden’s new role.
- Early Bet: Matthew Golden 40+ receiving yards
