NYJ vs MIA Same-Game Parlay Pick #1: Breece Hall Will Run Wild

The haters are going to say Breece Hall is washed and we shouldn’t even consider him. If we’re being honest, we should want them to say that. Haters are almost always wrong. Everyone knows that.

And when it comes to Breece Hall, the haters are certainly wrong. He’s far from washed.

The thing with Breece Hall is, he’s gotten unlucky so far this season. The man ran all over the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 1. It looked like he was going to set the all-time rushing record for yards in a season. Then, Justin Fields got hurt in Week 2 before he could get going. Fields sat out Week 3, which killed Hall against a raging Tampa Bay Buccaneers run defense.

But guess what, Fields is back, and so is the Jets’ run game just in time for a Miami Dolphins’ team that likes to get run on. On the season, Miami has allowed 14 runs of 10+ yards, which is not great by any stretch of the imagination. If Breece can break one or two of those, we won’t need many carries to get to 40+ yards. James Cook just went for 100+ on these guys last week. We don’t even need half that. Feels easy.

Jets vs Dolphins SGP Pick #2: Garrett Wilson Will Get His

This is where these SGPs get fun. We take two guys on the same team to go over their yardage totals, and then watch the haters pretend like it’s not smart. We’ve been doing it for years, and somehow the haters haven’t caught on. Talk about quality entertainment.

What makes this perfect is that we get to take Garrett Wilson. All the guy does is catch passes.

Here’s the deal with Wilson: he’s filthy. It doesn’t matter who the quarterback is; he just produces. It’s crazy when you think about it. The man has had some of the worst quarterbacks to ever put on an NFL uniform throwing to him, and he still somehow gets his. So to anyone who thinks Justin Fields can’t support a Garrett Wilson over, think again. (Also, go back and look at some of the games DJ Moore had with Fields.)

Still, this isn’t about Wilson as much as it’s about the game script tonight. My guess is that we see the best game the Dolphins play all season. They are 0-3 and dropping to 0-4 is the kiss of death in the NFL. Whether they are successful tonight is irrelevant. We just need them to be competitive. Once that happens, Wilson will catch his normal 5-6+ passes and fly over 40 receiving yards. Feels easy.
