When it comes to the Kansas City Chiefs vs Los Angeles Chargers injury reports for Sunday Night Football, the Chiefs are suddenly feeling the pain that the Chargers have been dealing with throughout the NFL season.
Finding enough wide receivers to populate the lineup has been an ongoing issue for the Chargers from the start of the 2022 campaign. Suddenly in Week 11, it appears that it won’t be any problem.
Both Keenan Allen (hamstring) and Mike Williams (ankle) have been given the go-ahead to play.
This week, it’s the Chiefs who are scouring for wideouts. Mecole Hardman (abdomen/illness) was placed on injured reserve. JuJu Smith-Schuster is also out after suffering a concussion in last week’s win over the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Chiefs Are Road Favorites
Kansas City is a 5.5-point road favorite in the Chiefs vs Chargers picks for this Week 11 SNF matchup. Public betting is of two minds when it comes to the spread on this game. Kansas City is getting solid public support in both spread and moneyline action in the Chiefs vs Chargers betting splits.
Kickoff at SoFi Field is set for 8:20 pm ET on Sunday, November 20. The weather forecast is calling for clear skies, 5 mph wind and a temperature of 68 degrees. The game is airing on NBC in the USA and on TSN and DAZN in Canada.
Kansas City Chiefs Injury Report
Hardman was placed on injured reserve, meaning that he’ll be missing this game and the next three. However, Chiefs head coach Andy Reid doesn’t believe it will be a long-term issue and that the wideout will be back playing for the Chiefs before the end of the regular season.

Schuster’s status is less certain. He didn’t practice at all this week. The NFL fined Jaguars safety Andre Cisco $6,612 for unnecessary roughness for the hit that sent Smith–Schuster to concussion protocol in last week’s game.
Things could’ve been even worse. Chiefs WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling was also battling illness earlier this week. However, his injury designation was removed later in the week.
Kansas City will also be without reserve cornerback Chris Lammens. He’s out with a concussion.
Los Angeles Chargers Injury Report
So far this season, Allen has missed seven games for the Chargers, while they were without Williams for two games. Allen has caught at least 100 passes in four of the past five seasons, and accounted for a minimum of six touchdown catches in each of those five seasons. This season, he has six catches for 77 yards.
Williams hasn’t played since Oct. 23. He’s gone over 1,000 receiving yards in two of the past three seasons. Williams caught 26 TD passes over the previous four campaigns.
Lineup alert: Mike Williams expected to get a full workload in Week 11; Keenan Allen likely on a pitch count of around 30-35 snaps.

Tight end Gerard Everett (groin) is also listed as questionable for the Chargers. He went through a full practice on Friday and it appears that all systems are go for Everett.
Kicker Dustin Hopkins (right hamstring) is listed as doubtful for this game. He’s been out of action since being hurt in a Week 5 overtime victory over the Denver Broncos.
How Could Injuries Affect Chiefs vs Chargers Lines?
Minus Hardman and Smith-Schuster, WR Kadarius Toney is looking to be a prominent play for Kansas City in the Chiefs vs Chargers player props. The recently-acquired wideout from the New York Giants has caught six passes for 69 yards and a touchdowns in two games with Kansas City.
According to the Chargers, Williams will be a full go, available for as many plays as they choose to use him. Allen will likely be on a pitch count. He’s expected to see action in between 30 and 35 plays.
If Hopkins is unable to answer the bell, his place, with again be taken by Cameron Dicker. Dicker has gone 7-for-7 on field goals, with a long of 47 yards. He’s also 5-for-5 on extra points.
